Most of the world's information is quantitative: earnings, vote share, rainfall, benchmark scores. Yet prediction markets reduce it all to yes or no. functionSPACE lets you forecast the whole distribution. Read more about it:

We chose to build first and talk later. Proud to finally share that functionSPACE is backed by some incredible partners. Now back to shipping.
functionSPACE has raised $1.7M in pre-seed funding to build the economic primitive for pricing numerical outcomes, led by @Maven11Capital and @blockwall_vc with participation from @smape_capital.

What this fundamentally enables is for sophisticated users to express and trade the underlying differential whilst allowing simpler traders to take a binary bet... all within the same liquidity pool. Advantage/economics of sharps vs squares here would be interesting.

Building in functionSPACE means your traders can create their own ranges. A cognitively simple evolution from the rigidly set ranges in prediction markets today.

bullish. we need to trade information upstream of price, not price itself

current prediction markets are too blunt, categorical binary betting is rudimentary. Checkout @functionspaceHQ for PDF trading on continuous outcomes x → f(x)

Ironically yes/no is also the biggest limitation of prediction markets. Until we get continuous distributed outcomes, prediction markets will stay in the realm of gambling Real world intelligence and forecasting requires more fidelity then just categorical betting
