Least catty homosexual soi disant RWer.
It’s easy to pile onto Fugitive Caesar right now. But do you have the media market literacy to also despise 2CB, Lomez, Future Moldovan, NMV, ZHP, Diomedes Appreciator, Aristophanes, Bennett’s Phylactery, Covfefe Anon, and every other balding xillennial head of that GC hydra?

I don't want to live in a world where the Israelis aren't constantly killing scads of Palestinians, but I also don't want to fund it. I'd also like to see said destruction come at a greater cost in money, territory, blood, political capital, etc., to the Israelis.

This individual is a longtime mutual who I've never been anything but cordial to and yet whenever we interact, it's typically an opportunity for him call down some vile imprecation on me, like "traitor". RW Twitter is full of these faggots.
This is a horrendous policy choice. We have a very specific policy goal in Iran: Do not let them have nukes or be close to having them. It’s not acceptable for Iran to have nukes. Anyone who disagrees with that is either horrendously misinformed or literally a traitor.

No, people really want the war to end. They didn't want it in the first place. Foreign policy enjoyers need to internalize this: that people do care about the war in and of itself. Less than they care about economic issues, sure, but they care.
Great statement. If the top 4 issues that caused Republican voters to switch are: 1) Ending the war 2) Focusing on cost of living/inflation 3) Putting America First 4) Changing our relationship to Israel I would emphasize that “ending the war” is an inkblot issue that really just means one or a combination of the other 3 depending on who’s saying it.

Between this and "Malfoid", it's clear that the anime right has lost the ability to be funny.
Not a fan of this recent bout of star wars jokes

OK, but they're warrior monks, not aristocrats.
Why are people politicizing my wholesome Chungus nonpolitical story about a corrupt Republic collapsing into an Empire which then a secret society of religious fanatic aristocrat-warriors leads a Rebellion against in order to form a Republic as a Restoration of the fallen aristocratic Regime? This is clearly a nonpolitical story and that's why George Lucas said the Ewoks were inspired by the Vietnam war. Because this is not about making political statements.

Fuentards and other "dissident right" people with JQ-related mental illnesses have a primal, a leftist-aligned, hipster-aligned desire to see themselves as better than normie Republicans. They will countersignal anyone who normie Republicans like.
Even if the Fuentards got their Hitler 2.0 they'd betray the guy over some random bullshit within a fortnight. Only thing they're capable of loyalty to is perma-heckling.

This is a great articulation of one of my strongest political beliefs. The Scots-Irish aversion to labor union politics is the kind of thing that will typically be attributed to "American Exceptionalism", but it's in actuality part of the genius of our people.
The White underclass is a miracle, and probably why the West has succeeded. Thomas Frank wrote “What’s the Matter with Kansas” to explore why poor Whites don’t vote for socialist policies that would (narrowly, in the short-term) benefit them. Of course he concluded it was about racism, as he was predetermined to do by his ideology. But I actually think he highlighted an incredibly important fact: poor White Americans, uniquely among underclasses globally, don’t vote for socialism. The typical dynamic is rich people trying to keep what they have and poor people trying to take it. But the American lower-class White does not behave this way, because he has a deontological aversion to government interference. The collection of attitudes and beliefs described as “rugged individualism” are often assessed in terms of how they impact the individual, but I think it’s much more important to consider how they impact a nation. (White) America has the world’s least resentful or grasping underclass. This is a treasure. They should be preserved and rewarded. Many might be net-negative fiscally in a narrow sense, but they are hugely net-positive if you consider their votes. Trump famously said “I love the poorly educated.” He was right to say this. Every nation has an elite. No other nation has such a high quality of virtuous common people.

They're calling it the most online quote of all time.
I can’t speak for Anglo-Saxons (i trust Nick Land to do it), but we are ready to reinstall the order in France or Germany. We are the Rome. We are the Byzantium. Russians are coming.

Before this postseason, I didn't really respect the Brewers' ability to hit consistently against top flight pitching, but they are proving me wrong against the Dodgers.

Even if we could economically mine 16 Psyche and bring the prices of all metals on the periodic table to parity, we aren't getting away from iron. It has advantage after advantage piled up upon it and only one serious disadvantage (susceptibility to corrosion) in most use cases.
Titanium is the ninth-most abundant element in Earth’s crust (0.63% by mass). Yet globally, we produce only 370,000 tons of titanium sponge annually. By comparison, we produce nearly 2 billion tons of steel. Figuring out how to mass-produce titanium economically will kickstart a new Industrial Revolution.

So much of the modern world can be explained by the fact that the Club of Rome looked at the 1965 Pontiac GTO and said "Never Again."

"Cruel and unusual punishment" refers to drawing and quartering and (even more specifically) to having people's ears and noses lopped off like Archbishop Laud did in the Court of Star Chamber during the days of the English Civil War.
I cannot imagine the horror of going to your execution, experiencing severe pain, and then waking up and finding out you lived and that you have to go to your execution again. Hard to imagine what it means for something to be cruel and unusual if that isn’t it.

The point this is getting to, which not enough people are saying, is that striverism is--at its core--system gaming. You fill your org up with these strivers and they will routinely fail to produce value because they got their positions by gaming the system.
Replying to @tracewoodgrains
There’s several versions of a Strawman - one is to take the least convincing reason to support a position (even if it has a loud person saying it) and act as that this is the only reason. I think academic striverism doesn’t raise IQ and students forget the course material after a couple years (this has been researched). The benefits are low and the costs are high. If all middle class jobs require 10 + hours a week doing test prep - we’re going to have a generation of teens who are (more) anxious and depressed. I don’t think I’m being unreasonable for saying “no I do not want to import a culture that will reduce the quality of life for my children”. I would feel this way even if the immigrants were causing this cultural change were 100% white. Yet every liberal I see discussing this is saying “dumb chuds don’t want their kids to work hard and they’re just racist”. I want my kids to work hard in their careers where it isn’t just a zero sum status game like it is for academic achievement.

Tom Wolfe talks about this.
Actually, the “Slutcon” “controversy” is very simple and straightforward. “Slutcon” an organized pimping ring. Let me explain. Men pay thousands of dollars to attend (just like a customer!). Women apply to work the event (just like an employee!). Female workers either get paid directly, gain work connections and leverage, and/or boost their own sex work side hustle careers. Open your eyes: it’s an event organized so a group of hired female workers can financially benefit in exchange for providing sexual services that men pay for. Aella, like millions of successful-but-aging prostitutes before her, is making the transition from prostitute to pimp (or madam, as they used to call it). The fact that supposedly intelligent “tech people” from the “tech sphere” are such utter philistines and naïve rubes that seemingly none of you are even capable of identifying the oldest trick in the book is truly risible. Instead, what we get is literal days and days of “nuanced” and breathless discourse over “the delicate issue of Slutcon🥺”. You are all rubes. Marks. And so utterly arrogant in your belief of your own exceptionalism that you count yourselves above human nature, too interesting to learn any human history, and that’s why this sphere is constantly defeated over and over by the simplest and pettiest villains of the human story: cults, hookers, and swindlers.

Trying to think of bands or artists who drastically changed their sound while keeping the same name. Scott Walker, Beastie Boys, to a lesser extent Joy Division. Not looking for something like Opeth with Damnation since that was a one-off
