Lots of chatter about the Prequels recently idk y
But here's my opinion which you didnt ask for. They're decent but still not great.
But I'm pleased that poor George Lucas is getting some love for them after being brutalised by those RLM nerds' reviews

If you're interested further, have a listen to this from 4:39
Some of these ideas I think are so good that I think, if George had gone down this route, then hired a good script doctor and a good editor these prequels could've wiped the floor with the original trilogy

> how can you out-compete the people who work 9:00 to 9:00, six days a week?
uhh better ideas, tighter coordination, stronger team-match hiring
I get the the feeling there's some underlying egalitarian rot in these discussions that needs to be addressed first
Revolut CEO Nik Storonsky: “The US is not that competitive. Europe is even less competitive.”
“China is competitive.”
“China is 9/9/6. Even if you are good in Europe, or in the US, how can you out-compete the people who work 9:00 to 9:00, six days a week?”
“I started in a co-working space with 140 companies. Within 5 years, only 3 companies survived. They all worked on the weekends.”
“Within 10 years, only 2 companies survived out of 140.”
“Working weekends is a must if you want to survive. Purely statistically.”

Full Mario 64 in Mixed Reality! Running in real 3D (no stereoscopic crap) natively at 90FPS and also running on my desk! 😋
Again, Opus 5.5 + PICO CLI combo made it quite straightforward.
Such a bliss to play an oldie at 90 FPS in 3D.
Disclaimer: I own an original physical copy of Mario 64. This project is not associated with Nintendo or PICO.
Fusion reactors mine both gold and bitcoin
For every gigawatt-thermal of fusion reactor capacity burning deuterium-tritium, you can produce 2 tonnes of gold per year by recycling the 14 MeV neutrons through mercury.
The economics of a gold-breeding fusion reactor are about half revenue from gold, and half from electricity at current prices.
The natural evolution of technology is to move beyond "chemistry' and into "alchemy" - nuclear sciences that involve the transmutation of elements, at energy scales and densities a million times higher than usual material science, chemistry, and molecular interaction scales.
The first companies to approach this will be targeting things like medical isotopes and enriched nuclear fuel, but there's really no limit. If you think we can make energy too cheap to meter, then it becomes feasible to transmute elements at industrial quantities as raw material feedstock into the economy.
Your thesis really should be that reality is programmable down to the atomic level, and that is inevitable where our technology will take us.
Last month, we demonstrated high-rate alchemy: turning mercury into real, stable gold, beating CERN’s record by a factor of 10.
Last week, we enriched isotopes in the world’s most powerful plasma centrifuge, beating the Soviet record that stood for 40 years.
Now, we’re building a fusion reactor in San Francisco to achieve record power density.
If you have any sort of vision, conjure it into existence, seek no advice, make no apologies

🚨🚨nuance alert 🚨 🚨
Europe is both:
-not anywhere close to as bad a shape as both left and right wing media suggest
-trapped by a number of short-mid term irreversible 21st century demographic developments, continent-specific resource limitations and past strategic mistakes which no political party can solve today
