ICE reports Q3 earnings in 2 days, on October 29.
If they were the buyer behind the 3.75M hyperliquid:native OTC deal, we might probably know it.

when you think about it, it is really insane what hyperliquid has accomplished in 3 years
first: take market share from the biggest cex (now 20% of all crypto perps OI)
then: dominate rwa perps
then: product gets traction outside of crypto
now: regulated US distribution
slowly becoming the home of all finance
Payward, the parent company of Kraken, announced its intention to be the first CFTC-regulated deployer on HIP-3* markets. Payward will use Hyperliquid as the infrastructure layer to deploy perpetual futures markets for US clients. Subject to regulatory approval, Bitnomial, Payward’s CFTC-regulated DCM and DCO, would act as the HIP-3* deployer: creating, owning, and administering the markets and clearing and settling the contracts. If approved, NinjaTrader Clearing, Payward’s CFTC-registered FCM, would carry client accounts.
HIP-3 will support optional deployer configuration for permissioned markets in a future network upgrade. This set of additional deployer functionality is collectively called HIP-3*. At its core, HIP-3* activation involves an onchain allowlist managed by the deployer or its sub-deployers. The functionality is strictly additive to HIP-3; its use is optional and up to the deployer. Existing markets remain unchanged. The initial release is available on testnet, where specifications are preliminary and subject to change based on feedback.
Hyperliquid is a neutral infrastructure layer with the goal of supporting large parts of the financial system. HIP-3* gives deployers additional functionality to operate deployments consistent with the requirements applicable to them. As with HIP-3, HIP-3* deployers are independent operators who use Hyperliquid as the onchain infrastructure layer for their own markets, while retaining control and responsibility over their deployment.

Excited to work with Payward to forge a path for onchain derivatives built on Hyperliquid's infrastructure. Kraken is one of the most trusted and respected exchanges in crypto. They are also true believers in the technology and crypto ethos. We're honored that they are building on Hyperliquid to bring the next evolution of perpetual markets to the United States.

For over a year I've been explaining @HyperliquidX to anyone who will listen. It mostly has been a monologue from me. We decided we needed to turn it into a presentation.
All comments are welcomed. Tell us what you like, what you don't like, and what you hate. Like everything in HL, this should be a community effort.

🆕The highly anticipated Anthropic ($ANT) pre-IPO perpetual from @tradexyz on @HyperliquidX is now live on WSL HYPE <GO>:
AWS of liquidity.
A regulated US futures exchange and clearing house choosing Hyperliquid's order book is the clearest example of that so far. Anyone creating HIP-3 markets also has to stake a large amount of HYPE, so more of them means more HYPE locked up. Soon.

Anthropic token on Hyperliquid moving a little bit lower. Currently pricing the company at around 1.88 trillion.

1/ A common critique of $PEARL: some of the GPUs mining it aren’t doing useful AI work.
That's a classic misconception. I think that misses what makes the design by @WeinsteinOmri and the @prlnet team so clever.

A good rebuttal to the Pearl bear thesis, which aligns with how I think about the opportunity as well. What is asymmetric here is that Pearl enables GPUs to perform Duplex Work. Useful Work is a powerful GTM, but in reality Pearl’s low overhead kernel is what forces adoption.

In this market, conviction is everything. Either you believe or you don't.
Belief makes holding easy. Without it, you'll overtrade to chase profits, and every extra trade is another chance to be wrong.
I learned this the hard way (and I’m writing this to remind myself about it).
If you believe we're going higher in 2027 and you have conviction in your coins, hold. Don't sell hoping to catch a 10% dip and rebuy.

Frontier tech and crypto are converging.
Crypto projects part of the AI buildout:
$DATA → Licensing and verifying AI training data.
$CHIP → Financing GPU hardware through onchain loans.
$PEARL → Merging proof-of-work with AI compute, letting miners earn rewards while powering compute.

Pearl Research Labs @prlnet published PearlQuant: a method for compressing the KV cache that LLM serving keeps in GPU memory.
On GLM-5.3 it stores 3.2 bits per value against 9.1 for the FP8 baseline, about 65% less, with no statistically significant difference on four benchmarks (RULER, LongBench v2, MMLU-Pro, LiveCodeBench).
On one 8×B200 node at 128 concurrent sessions it gave 1.8x FP8’s throughput and cut p90 time to first token from 144 s to 7 s. At light load, FP8 was about 5% faster.
