this is the first time i've seen fuusuke completely lose composure and get so pissed off. he unleashes air rat whirlwind which is considered a high rank ninku technique that can hurt the user too. this was an emotional episode. the switch from comedic to tragic is well done.
for futher context: this woman that he met he grew fond of very quickly because she's like a mother figure to him and likewise he reminds her of her son. they both share in common that he was separated from his mom and she from her son during the war. i'm sure he feels again he was unable to protect his mother, essentially.
the first flashback we get of the ninku during the war. i see 12 people here and i'll assume these are all 12 captains. seeing fuusuke in his little war uniform so small compared to the others 😂 i would like to know more about master reishu and the other captains
i had a feeling this guy was previously ninku. it turns out that kisumi, now known as colonel basara of the empire was previously the 7th squad captain and has the power to control ice.. so far this is the first real opponent our main characters have come across
fuusuke's wind pressure palm technique, ninku's 1st squad is known for having control over wind and the captains of each squad have complete mastery over their skills. so far some really cool feats from fuusuke, but i can't wait to see them face an enemy that's more difficult
