Zoi is growing fast, thank you! 💚 Because so many people are joining today, sign-up codes sent to Gmail addresses are arriving late right now. We are on it. ✅ Using Gmail? Tap "Continue with Google". No code needed. On iPhone, you can also use "Sign in with Apple". ⏳ If you already asked for a code, it stays valid for 30 minutes. Please do not ask for a new one again and again, it only makes the wait longer. Thanks for your patience, and welcome to Zoi!

Hey everyone, This Friday, we're publishing a new version of the Zoi whitepaper. We've read all your questions about tokens, transfers and what comes next. The new version answers them. A small preview of what's inside: - Tokenomics: the total supply of ZOI and how it's split - A reward plan built to keep ZOI scarce as the network grows - The Zoi privatenet: where your ZOI lives until TGE - The Zoi Wallet, P2P transfers and offline transfers, and how they open step by step - How we keep transfers fair for real humans, not bots Bitcoin fans may notice something familiar in the reward plan 👀 Along with it, we'll share a detailed X post and a blog post that explain every update. Keep syncing, and see you on Friday!

Most apps give you a code and a copy button. We gave you a design studio. Six styles. 3D stickers. A QR on every card. Drag, pinch, twist, recolor. We think about every little detail at Zoi. And trust us, we're only getting started ;)

Zoi is live. Starting today, anyone can join the network on Google Play, the App Store, or straight from zoi.network/q/wr2f2wm7 Digital money has always had one weak spot: it stops the moment the signal does. A packed stadium. A metro tunnel. A blackout. A ferry between islands. A festival with 80,000 people and one overloaded cell tower. The places where life actually happens are often the places where payments go quiet. We're building the network that changes that. Payments that keep moving when the internet doesn't. No signal, no data plan, no one in the middle who can switch it off. Money that works wherever people are, not just where the coverage map says it should. This isn't something you can build in a lab. It needs phones. Millions of them, in every city, every market, every dead zone on the map. Each phone that joins makes the network stronger for everyone around it. That's what starts today. From day one you can: • Sync every 4 hours and grow your ZOI balance • Build a streak that makes every sync count for more • Bring your friends in and grow with them It's free and takes a single tap. One phone, one account. Built for the whole world. The first nodes are the ones that shape what this becomes. Be one of them. Get the app: zoi.network/q/wr2f2wm7

Your wallet already works offline 🔐 Here is something most people never notice: one step of every crypto transaction has never needed the internet. 1. Signing needs no network. Your private key plus the transaction equals a signature. It is pure math, done on your device, in a basement, on a plane, anywhere. 2. Hardware wallets are proof. A cold wallet has no wifi, no SIM, no bluetooth. It signs billions of dollars every day, completely disconnected. 3. The missing half. That signed transaction is just a file sitting on your device until something carries it to the network. So the offline problem was never about signing. It is about agreement: making sure the same coin was not promised to two different people. Solve the agreement, and the internet becomes optional 🤝⚡ #Zoi #Crypto #SelfCustody #OfflinePayments #CryptoEducation

Can Bitcoin work without the internet? ⚡ People have been trying to solve this for years. Three workarounds already exist, and each one has a price: 1. Satellite: satellites broadcast the blockchain down to anyone with a dish. You can receive the ledger anywhere on Earth. You still cannot send a payment. 2. SMS and USSD: text a code and funds move. No data plan needed, but a company holds your keys and makes the real transaction for you. That is custody, not self custody. 3. Radio mesh: long range radios relay data device to device. Genuinely promising, but slow and tiny. Kilobytes, not a payment network. The catch is the same every time. Each workaround either trusts someone else, or waits for the network to come back. Nobody removed the dependency itself. That is the actual problem 🤝⚡ #Zoi #Bitcoin #OfflinePayments #Crypto #CryptoEducation

5/ So why is offline crypto still rare? Moving the data was never the hard part. Agreeing on who owns what is. If two phones are cut off from the world, nothing stops the same coin being spent twice. Solve that, and payments stop depending on the internet 🤝⚡ #Zoi #OfflinePayments #Crypto #CryptoEducation

2/ Bluetooth: talk across the room. Phones can exchange data directly, and more importantly, they can relay for each other. Ten phones in a village become a mesh where a message hops from one to the next until it finds a way out.

4/ Store and forward: pay now, settle later. The payment sits on the device, signed and ready, and reaches the wider system whenever anything reconnects. Minutes later, or days later.

3/ QR codes: light as a wire. One screen displays, one camera reads. That is a full data transfer with nothing in between. India's UPI Lite and China's e-CNY both lean on this for low-connectivity payments.

How do offline payments actually work? 📡 Paying someone with no internet sounds impossible. It isn't. Four mechanisms already do it every day, and the hard part isn't what most people assume 🧵👇

1/ NFC: tap to pay. Two devices touch and data jumps a few centimetres. No router, no signal, no network. This is what happens when your card taps a terminal that is temporarily offline.

5 types of digital payment, explained simply 💳 Every time you pay without cash, someone in the middle moves your money. Here's who: 1. Card networks: Visa, Mastercard. Your bank, the network and a processor all approve every tap. 2. Bank transfers: SWIFT, ACH, SEPA. Banks settle between each other, often in days. 3. Payment apps: PayPal, Venmo, Alipay. One company holds and moves the balance. 4. Mobile money: M-Pesa, UPI. Runs on phones and telcos, built for people without banks. 5. Crypto: Bitcoin, stablecoins. No company in the middle, a shared ledger instead. Five very different systems with one thing in common: none of them work without a live connection. Money went digital. It never went offline 🌐⚡ #Zoi #Payments #Crypto #Fintech #CryptoEducation

Why does a crypto transfer need the internet? 🌐 "Decentralized money" sounds like it should work anywhere. In practice, every single step of a transaction assumes you're online. Here's the one dependency nobody talks about 🧵👇

6/ So "decentralized" and "offline" are not the same thing. Crypto removed the bank from the middle. It didn't remove the internet. For 2.6 billion people who are still offline, and for anyone in a blackout, that's the gap 🤝⚡ #Zoi #Crypto #Blockchain #CryptoEducation
