π₯π¨ BREAKING β The 20-year-old co-pilot Nathalia Filgueiras, who died in the Learjet crash in Florida, was interviewed by CBS12 News in October 2023 when she was a 17-year-old senior at West Boca Raton High School.
At the time, she was working on her private pilotβs license before she even had a driverβs license.
In the interview with Dani Travis she said, βI definitely do brag because people say, βoh you canβt drive,β and Iβm like, βyeah but I can fly.ββ
That line captured how she had already qualified to fly while still waiting on the ability to drive a car. She was one of the nine victims in the Palm Beach County crash.
The 2023 interview is the earlier record of her aviation progress. At the time, she highlighted that she had her pilotβs license before her driverβs license. The crash is the event that took her life three years later.
