This is what Colin is referencing. Rangers win the ball back and have a 4 v 3 opportunity and Don Robertson stops the play. Also see attached IFAB Law 5 Subsection 3. @ClydeSSB @gordonduncan7

Over the past wks we’ve seen very similar tackles made by Stanger, Fotheringham & Donovan with 3 different outcomes (6 incl VAR). We seem unable to bad fouls when it happens. Bad enough the Refs miss it but inexplicable that VAR does with repeated viewings. What’s being coached?

“I’m not saying you can come here and dominate the game” Maybe not with Aberdeen or Killie, Del, but again a reminder you are the Rangers manager now.
🎙️ Derek McInnes spoke to @RangersTV following tonight's draw against Hearts at Tynecastle.

No damage done to the deficit, but when the fuck will we capitalise on Celtic dropping points? Absolutely pathetic performance 2nd best in every department, outfought in midfield, no urgency, no quality in possession As for Sterling, you simply cannot miss chances like that.

McInnes needs to deal with Fernandez. An absolute liability time after time. Surely Godfrey can’t be any worse?!

Mcinnes is going down the gio route of treating the opposition with too much respect We should be starting every game with our strongest 11 & set up to play to our strengths not to combat the opposition’s

The aggression, pressing, determination we showed vs Celtic has been lacking vs Dundee and Hearts. Instead it’s been a mirror image with the opposition being hungrier, more aggressive. That’s pure attitude, nothing to do with ability etc

Rangers players trying to be fancy & then cause an unforced error which once again comes back to haunt us The masters of our own downfall as usual

What’s the point of letting Gassama start the second half only to sub him off after 8 minutes Pointless

Here is Dave Doogan explicitly arguing for standing charges to be “redistributed onto the unit price” in order to encourage lower consumption. Now it has happened, Dave Doogan is complaining loudly about the very thing that he asked for (see quoted tweet).
Wait a minute, on gas prices... By moving the cost of the standing charge on to the unit rate - has Andy Burnham actually just put up energy bills for the majority of Scots? We are colder country & have to put the heating on more, the more gas we use, the higher price we pay!
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
In 2024 Dave Doogan MP called for standing charges to be rolled into the unit price saying it would reduce usage lower bills cut carbon emissions and infrastructure costs. The government is now moving gas standing charge costs to the unit rate. hansard.parliament.uk/commons/2024-0… bbc.co.uk/news/articles/… heraldscotland.com/news/26676771.…

A ‘high earner’ is now someone who earns 1.8 x Minimum Wage 😂 This country is honestly a joke. We need our taxes lowered substantially.
Britain’s new minimum wage: £27,456 a year. Higher-rate income tax kicks in at £50,270. Wage compression the Soviet Union could only have dreamed of.

🚨 Manchester United have decided to continue with Michael Carrick as head coach. Despite Bournemouth and Como defeats, #MUFC hierarchy decides to give Carrick more time to fix things. Player also informed. Up next: Chelsea-Man United on Saturday. Carrick will be there.

Time to post my biannual “how artificially compressed are British wages”. Rising minimum wage and a 50k+ p/a tax bracket that runs to 40% of earnings, and hasn’t adjusted for inflation. This form of artificial wage compression has turned everyone in Britain into low productivity tax cattle - you have zero incentive to become anything other here. This is also a form of ambition and productivity compression. Source, ONS, Fig 5: ons.gov.uk/employmentandlabo…
🚨 NEW: John Healey will increase the minimum wage for over 21s from £12.71 to around £13.20

In Scotland it kicks in at £43,633. Earning 58% more than the minimum wage makes you a "high earner" in Scotland. But apparently we live in a neoliberal free market dystopia where the private sector stomps over workers unimpeded.

10 days after Willie Collum had to call Ayr United to accept accountability for an error. Matthew MacDermid is rewarded with being appointed VAR for Hearts vs Rangers on Wednesday night. We can’t wait to hear the rationale for this.
