Elon hates it when we call it Twitter. Twitter. Twitter. Twitter. Twitter. Twitter. 😂 Whatever you do, DON'T RETWEET THIS. We wouldn't want to hurt the billionaire baby's feelings. 🤣
Stop calling it Twitter. It's X.

On this day in 1988, R.E.M. released ‘Green,’ their first major-label album. Featuring “Stand,” “Orange Crush” and “Pop Song 89,” it brought their jangly guitars, political edge and college rock spirit to a massive new audience.

Jared Kushner is set to go to Abu Dhabi next week to negotiate for the Trump administration. Unless and until he gets confirmed by the Senate, that's illegal under the Appointments Clause of the Constitution. We sued to enforce the law. axios.com/2026/11/03/us-russ…

🚨🇨🇦 THIS IS NOT A THIRD-WORLD COUNTRY. THIS IS TORONTO, CANADA. These are pictures of the Gardiner Expressway, right in the heart of Canada’s largest city. Look at the concrete. The cracks. The deterioration. The patchwork. Millions of Canadians travel on infrastructure like this every day. We somehow find billions for international commitments, grand announcements, political pet projects and endless promises to build a better tomorrow. But what about maintaining the country we already built? Canada is a G7 nation. Toronto is its financial capital. Yet ordinary Canadians are left looking at infrastructure that raises serious questions about maintenance and public priorities. And the irony? We pay income taxes. Property taxes. Sales taxes. Fuel taxes. And taxes on practically everything else. HOW MUCH MORE MUST CANADIANS PAY BEFORE BASIC INFRASTRUCTURE BECOMES A PRIORITY? A country doesn’t become prosperous by announcing billion-dollar projects while neglecting what previous generations built. You can’t build the future if you can’t maintain the present. Welcome to Canada. Where the announcements are always brand new, but the concrete tells a different story. 🇨🇦

Avi is absolutely right. The super-rich threaten but rarely actually leave when you raise their taxes -- as tax expert Neil Brooks & I show in our new book "Cancelling Billionaires Before They Cancel Us: The Urgent Case for a Wealth Tax."
Avi Lewis defends a wealth tax: "This is an idea that addresses the fundamental inequality and the danger of inequality in our society because if we don't do something, people are going to believe in this country that the economy just doesn't work for them."

This is a formal request for Susie Wiles and James Blair to stop harassing me with texts and calls. If there is a factual inaccuracy in what I said, send it to me in writing and I will vigorously correct and apologize for any misstatements. I will note that everything I said is substantiated by other senior officials. If you want to file a lawsuit and get into discovery of whether it’s provably true that Ballard and Continental had an undue influence on the White House policy process, do it. I believe we are in an existential moment for the country, and Americans were owed an honest accounting of the past two years so we identify the problems we need to move on from.

Nobody. Likes. Him. He’s even lost his party 12,000 donating individuals and they’ve slipped behind the Libs in donations. Unprecedented. Not to mention how many MPs he’s lost, the election he’s lost, his own seat that he lost and losing in the polls. A loser through and through.
Pierre Poilievre has lost three senior aides in less than a year, with Deputy Chief of Staff Aaron Wudrick becoming the latest to announce his departure for the private sector

We’re never letting Trump’s Arch see the light of day. No more taxpayer dollars toward building vanity projects. We’re rebuilding America.
BREAKING: A federal judge blocks U.S. President Donald Trump's administration from breaking ground on a towering memorial arch for 14 days, a major setback for one of the president's most prominent projects to remake Washington, D.C., in his vision. apnews.com/article/trump-was…

She is a Republican comms specialist, worked for the Trump DoD under SecDef, is a contributor to Fox News and the Heritage Foundation. So she already works for them and is MAGA as hell, so she was absolutely on the short list.

Apparently “Dana W. White” who ran public affairs for Sec Def was recommended on a short list for Trump to put as Press Secretary. Trump has instead announced “Dana White” of the UFC as Press Secretary with our Dana having any idea. JFC!

This is a pretty cowardly way of having your cake and eating it too. As of the time of this writing, the original has 1m views and this correction has ~3k. By posting this correction (which is not really a correction, but an acknowledgement that the whole premise of the video was false) you get to perpetuate the lie, but also give the impression of ethical integrity. You should actually delete the post but write an explanation of why you posted it.
