The BBC is cutting £500 million and one in ten jobs, with staff on Newsnight expecting their programme to go.
A TV licence costs £180 a year and carries no vote in how the BBC is run.
The Charter Review should make licence fee payers members, with a real stake and a say.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the People’s Emergency Briefing in Preston earlier this week. It was great to see such a good turnout and hear so many thoughtful and constructive contributions.
With temperatures reaching 32°C in Preston today, the message couldn’t have been more relevant. Climate change is already affecting our communities, and we all have a role to play, whether that’s as residents, businesses, employers, community groups or public organisations.
