THREAD: I recently finished tweaking a data science project with a goal of identifying the ideal metric to evaluate an RB's rushing performance, isolating individual play as much as possible.
Here’s the final formula:
RBIS = (MTF/Attempt * 10) + YAC/ATT - (YBC/Attempt/2)
Wentz is not a worthwhile pivot. At best he’s marginally better with no upside to improve (which, as frustrating as it has been with Kyler, is a possibility). Kirk Cousins might be the best phone call tbh
You keep JJ McCarthy so you can put him in if this continues. Now you have no pivot. You have nothing beyond this year. There is no upside in a 5th round pick. There is no upside in making Wentz the starter. Brutal roster management.
Aaron Jones has forced 8 missed tackles on 105 attempts. Among RBs with 80 or more carries this season, he ranks dead last in missed tackles forced and yards after contact per attempt. He has fallen off into unplayable territory as a rusher.
For those saying he is playing injured:
1. Okay, that doesn't change the fact an improvement is desperately needed
2. Last year of backs with 100 or more carries he was in dead last at 12 forced missed tackles as well
If you’re the Giants right now… would you trade JJ McCarthy for Bo Nix?

Greta Gerwig’s $280M ‘NARNIA’ is reportedly raising concerns at Netflix after a test screening, with insiders calling the film “awful”.
The production has undergone reshoots amid those concerns.

Look at his feet. Bo’s main issue is he so often, from a crispy clean pocket loses his base for no reason. The extra hitch is there for him. These issues completely negate the benefit a dominant OL provides you. Not only does this rush reads but it causes errant throws.

This is terrible.
