I can't recall a significant low being made on a Friday that closes on the lows. This is a reason I'm intently watching the futures. Bulls should be hoping for an opening in the hole (lower) for capitulation, but instead, I'm still seeing "buy the dip" mentality in the futures.

Spot on! It isn't that crypto doesn't have a place... it's that there are almost 10k different cryptos now. They aren't ALL going to be "THE alternative" to fiat. A few may well make you bank. Most will likely go the way of pets.com (to zippo) eventually.

Don't know if this is THE bottom for gold, a bottom for gold or just a short-covering rally. We'll only know in hindsight. But if it's THE bottom, then there were plenty of bells ringing. Every sentiment indicator at this juncture was extremely low (multi-yr lows in many cases),
