Visited Undri today and reviewed key civic development works in the area.
Visited the 3.5-acre amenity plot, which will be developed as a garden in response to the demands of local citizens. Instructed the Garden Department to expedite the proposed development and make the facility available to residents at the earliest.
Also heard citizens’ concerns regarding road development in Undri and directed the concerned departments to expedite ongoing road works and address issues on priority.
Our focus remains on creating better gardens, roads and civic amenities for Undri residents.
Also visited Ready Mix Concrete (RMC) plants and adjoining housing societies in Undri today. Interacted with residents and heard their concerns regarding road conditions, dust and noise pollution caused by RMC trucks. Pune: A shocking incident at Pune's busy University Chowk has raised serious concerns over traffic rule enforcement after a luxury BMW was allegedly driven on the wrong side of the road, putting the safety of other motorists at risk.
According to locals, the driver ignored traffic regulations and entered the junction from the wrong side, creating a dangerous situation for commuters. Citizens reportedly captured photos and videos of the incident and shared them with the Traffic Police while also tagging the authorities on social media.
However, one citizen has alleged that no action has been taken so far despite the evidence being submitted. The incident has sparked public outrage, with many questioning whether owners of luxury vehicles receive preferential treatment.
Residents have demanded strict action against the driver, asking whether traffic rules apply equally to everyone or only to ordinary citizens. All eyes are now on the Traffic Police to see whether action will be taken against the alleged violation.
