Iconic Loan on GONDI:
Zombie Punk #9909 received a 250,000 USDC loan on GONDI.
Loan Terms:
- Principal: 250,000 USDC
- Duration: 180 days
- Effective APR: 15%
The 15% effective APR is significantly below competitive market rates for loans of similar duration, largely driven by the loan’s lower loan-to-value (LTV) ratio.
❤️ this !
my favorite story from the @creepz afterparty happened before I even got inside.
I was standing in line in front of a couple who looked to be in their 70s, both born and raised in Marfa. I asked how they’d heard about the event and what brought them out.
“are you kidding? we haven’t been inside the Palace since we were in high school in the ’70s!”
we got to chatting. they told me things had quieted down in Marfa after the pandemic, and that they love @artblocks_io week because it’s one of the weeks when the town comes alive.
when we walked in, the gentleman stopped in the middle of the Palace and just took it all in. then he pulled out his phone and started documenting.
a little later, I watched him make his way toward the back, where he spent some time looking at @lphaCentauriKid’s Bösendorfer.
what @AdamWeitsman has done for artists and projects in this space has been monumental, that goes unsaid. but on that night, I got to see another side of what that support makes possible. two people walking back into a place from their youth and finding something new happening there.
I don't know exactly how they felt about watching a bunch of reptilian cartoons up on the walls as psychedelic cumbia blasted over the loudspeakers, but my impression is that they were happy to see the Palace once again filled with people just having a good old time.

Exciting bit of Tesseract lore : In the fxhash collection, both Editions #34 (left) and #510 (right) never signed correctly and remain blank.
It appears because both were single cube outputs, the code entered an unsolvable loop attempting to place ribbons where there was no space. By using the original transaction hashes and placing a limit on how many times the code can try, we can finally see what those outputs looked like.
For the owners of the original tokens, (if you are reading this), I would be happy to remint each edition as a 1/1 and send to you.
While they would not be part of the canonical collection, they would still be your Tesseracts 🙏🏾

Vortex #288 // @Jen_Stark
Jen Stark translated her hand-cut paper sculptures into code for this 1,000-work Art Blocks series from December 2021. The spirals are built from sine waves, and they're interactive.

the biggest change in the last 5 years is not that institutions suddenly care about digital art. they always have.
It is that there are more collectors and donors with dedication, strategy, and mission driven focus to the genre. the ones who work closely with curators get it.

“Their planetary scale reminds us of how little we are and how powerful they can be.” - William Mapan
and ✨ Happy birthday to the one and only William Mapan @williamapan!
Mapan uses code to create works with the textures and irregularities of drawing, painting and printmaking. In Anticyclone (2022), he takes inspiration from the atmospheric forces that shape our surroundings. High pressure, rotation and airflow are interpreted through compositions that recall crayon on paper, giving vast weather systems a delicate, hand-drawn quality.
Anticyclone #578 will be featured in Synthetic Topographies, opening at @artblocks_io Gallery in Marfa on October 23, 2026. The exhibition explores how artists use computational processes to imagine and represent environments.
