This is brilliant from TG4. Looking forward to it.
It would be even brillianter if these posts were on Bluesky where there's less noise and less chance of missing them.
"It's a great achievement for anyone to get to the start line (...) It's well worth the watch!"

Big opportunity for @MullingarHAC at this year's National Cross Country. MHAC finished 2nd to Grigg's CNDR last year.
“I think I can win a medal and the quickest way to get me there is come here and put it all on the line in Oregon.”
Spoke to @nickgriggs4321 about his move to the University of Oregon, where he'll have three years of NCAA eligibility.

Looks like two Mullingar men on the C1 podium at the Leinster Road Champs in Clonard today.
Padraig Moran with Orwell Wheelers in first and Ruairi Woods with Burren CC in third.

Attendance is similar to Rome 24. Morning sessions are similar to Munich 22 (however evening sessions in Munich were much busier).
This trend can be halted by shortening the schedule and adding more events per session.
TNT Sport cut from the Athletics to show the Netball, which is already live on another TNT Sport channel??? Clown school.
That's a cut-off I can make! 2 days to run a marathon. Sign me up.
Next year’s London Marathon will be held over two days, Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th April, the organizers have confirmed.
Over 100,000 participants are expected to take part in the one-off event, which sees the full 26.2 mile distance raced on both days.

This post from 10 years back (pre super shoes) is very relevant today. Although the shoes cost €500 now!

That song by The Scratch on Other Voices is so good I've rewound the live stream to replay it again. Twice.
Ed Eyestone is on to something here. Domination by African athletes in European road races killed many of those races years ago and they haven't bounced back even since invites to East Africans have stopped.
Mercenaries vs students is not a competition and will ruin the NCAA.
BYU coach Ed Eyestone to the Deseret News: “Some coaches have decided to take a shortcut by taking foreign talent. Many are older and developed. I always felt I’d be embarrassed to have seven foreigners on the team.”

Oklahoma State coach Dave Smith in the NCAA XC Championship pre-peace press conference: “If I believe if someone doesn’t like a rule or doesn’t like a situation in the NCAA, don’t bitch about it. Go change it. Get involved. Get involved in the sport. Get involved in the leadership and make change the way change is supposed to be made. Otherwise, shut up and coach your team.”

A House Of Dynamite is without doubt the biggest pile of shit movie I've ever seen. Repeats itself 4 times and has no ending. Rubbish.
The @dublinmarathon live stream was excellent. Followed multiple groups, had split screens and knowledgeable commentary.
Sawe slowed right after the half way point. Not even going to run a personal best now. Worth a try, I guess.
Great to see a @MullingarHAC athlete at the #Tokyo2025 World Championships. Best of luck to Oisin Lane tonight. Looking out for him on the @RTEplayer and @gregallenRTE and @DavidMatthews2 are keeping us updated nicely.
