Before every game, find a quiet place to block out the noise, clear your head, and prepare your mind for peak performance. The more mentally prepared you are, the better you’ll perform!
Self discipline comes down to these 2 things:
(1) Here's something I know I'm supposed to do that I really don't want to do. Can you make yourself do it?
(2) And then there's something you know you're not supposed to do, but you want to do it. Can you keep yourself from it?

The #1 skill missing from today’s athlete is mental toughness. Blaming others for circumstances. Not fighting through adversity. Pouting and poor body language. Physical skill can only take you so far. Get tough! -@DirtBroUSA

To succeed as an athlete, you need to learn how to handle failure. Once you improve your attitude and start learning from each failure, you can make great improvements and reach your full potential.

The average college player spends 3,000 hours on their game in 4 years & only 4% of that is in actual games. The rest is grind. It takes mental & physical stamina, toughness and a love for the process. Compete every day, not just when the lights are on. That’s what separates you.
Talent is just a starting point. Success is when your work ethic, attitude, and consistency match the level of your talent. #PLUS
Teach them how to go all in. Learning how to pour your heart & focus into improving transforms how you attack everything you end up doing in life. -@DrewHanlen

Distractions are what you see when you take your eyes off the goal. Stay focused on what's most important!
Your future is driven by your habits, not your goals. What you repeatedly do will always outperform what you occasionally intend.
The preparation gap between high school and college is bigger than anyone talks about, and your habits have to match the level you just stepped into before you even get there.
