Before every game, find a quiet place to block out the noise, clear your head, and prepare your mind for peak performance. The more mentally prepared you are, the better you’ll perform!

Mentally tough athletes are good at hitting the “reset button.” After making mistakes, they quickly move on and focus on the next play.

The average college player spends 3,000 hours on their game in 4 years & only 4% of that is in actual games. The rest is grind. It takes mental & physical stamina, toughness and a love for the process. Compete every day, not just when the lights are on. That’s what separates you.

A college coach can LOVE your film and still NOT offer you.
Why?
Maybe you're not a positional need. Maybe they already have three players ahead of you on their board. Maybe you don't fit their scheme.
Recruiting is bigger than talent.

Four attitudes that help you succeed as an athlete and a person:
1. I can improve if I work hard.
2. I have a purpose in life.
3. I am more than an athlete.
4. I am a part of something greater than myself.

Big goals demand focus and trade-offs. Small goals are the daily comforts or minor priorities that quietly steal your time and energy—like endless scrolling, late-night snacks, or easy social plans. You keep them because they feel good now, but they block the bigger wins. Giving them up creates the space and discipline needed to actually reach the major ones.

As an athlete, you need to support your teammates after they make mistakes. Getting upset isn’t going to help them play better. By encouraging and uplifting your teammates, you help your team succeed.
