EA has released seven classic remasters on Steam and GOG after an employee stumbled across โnearly 20,000โ forgotten archival assets in a storage room.
Producer Jim Vessella led a restoration project that digitized 6,000 items and preserved โan estimated 2,500 hours of historical footage.โ
He then spent two years working with community modders to bring classics like Wing Commander and Road Rash back to life.

Blizzard revealed that World of Warcraft: Forever was running on 3,924 virtual machines, 251,136GB of RAM and 70,480 CPU cores to handle the launch.
And it seems to have worked. Players reported almost no queues, disconnects or lag.
Blizzard Executive Producer Holly Longdale praised the team, saying: โThis launch was crazier than the insanity we imagined but thankfully the team built plans and contingencies. They are incredible imo.โ
