Dear Biafrans,
Observe deeply; the arc is not random. What began as a raw MOVEMENT in 2012 has already mutated through the fire of agents provocateurs and state intimidation to become STATE ACTORS, now an INSTITUTION, and is moving majestically towards the quiet architecture of QUASI-STATE—into something no empire can unmake.
The arrows still point upward. The final stage is not mystery; it is destiny wearing a question mark until we are ready to name it: The Biafran State.
Do not be distracted by noise. Trust the process the same way the sun trusts the horizon. Every seeming delay is calibration. Every silence is strategy. Every scar is scaffolding.
From Resistance to Renaissance is not poetry; it is political physics. What began as a Movement shall end as a Nation. Hold the line. See the pattern. The Undying Spirit does not rush; it rises.
IPOB! The journey continues.

DOS PUBLIC BRIEFING
22nd September 2026
The Continued "ESN/IPOB Camp Bust" is a Recycled Propaganda Script
The Imo State Police Command's statement on Friday 18th September 2026 that they busted an ESN camp in Ubah Agwa, Oguta LGA, does not stand up to any independent scrutiny. It is the same lie they have been recycling since 2022.
1. The IPOB leadership has maintained for years that there's no ESN camp in Agwa.
IPOB/ESN is not a terrorist organisation and does not own any terrorist camp anywhere in world.
2. Their fabricated evidence does Not stand the test of factual scrutiny.
They claim they recovered 1 AK-47 with no identification number and 2 magazines from the same location where they claim a fierce gun battle happened and hoodlums fled with gunshot injuries. If there was a fierce exchange, where are the bullet holes, the blood trail, the bodies, the video? One rifle for a whole camp?
Then came in their usual Nollywood props: 4 military uniforms, 5 police uniforms, 3 Biafra flags, 6 Biafra regalia, 4 ESN berets, ATM cards, foreign currencies, Biafran currency, a shrine, ritual materials, enlarged photographs. This is the exact same inventory list from 2022, 2023, 2024 raids in the same Ubah Agwa/Izombe forest. They have been announcing they "dislodged" the same camp for 4 years.
3. They said a kingpin by name Chiemela aka "Disaster" was killed during the foiled attack on Agwa Divisional Headquarters on August 21, 2026. If he was killed then, why is the "investigation" of that attack leading to an arrest on September 15 of Jones Okechukwu Anyim and Happiness Uche, and then a raid where everyone escaped? If you killed the kingpin, who are you still fighting in an empty bungalow?
4. No Independent Verification, No Community Confirmation
The people of Ubah Agwa have repeatedly said there is no ESN camp in their community. What the police call a camp is known farmland and family houses. No community leader, no journalist, no independent monitor was taken to the site. No drone footage, no bodycam. Just a police press release by DSP Henry Okoye.
5. Whenever police fail in their responsibility to protect both people and infrastructure in Imo, whether security/private infrastructure, their predictable next line of action is to regugitate stale stories of "we busted ESN camp." It is a pattern to justify extrajudicial killings and extort the communities. They arrest random youths in this case Jones Anyim, 29, and Happiness Uche, 32, both from Agwa and label them ESN/IPOB.
When will DSP Henry Okoye stop this disgraceful and shameful behaviour of criminalising innocent Imo youths? the world has had enough of your shame.
Are there no more men in Imo State who can speak and condemn how Hope Uzodimma is using the Nigeria police to destroy the lives of unarmed Imo youths and tag them terrorists?
We maintain that there was no ESN camp busted in Agwa, Oguta because none existed.
We said and will continue to say it to the Nigeria government that the modus operandi of the ESN will remain a puzzle they can neither understand nor have the capacity to solve.
Signed
Dr C. Okadigbo
DOS Press Secretary.

New IPOB Constitution Centers Power on Directorate of State and Planned Igwebuike Assembly
In a formal memorandum dated August 2, 2026, and designated Resolution N.2 2026, the Directorate of State (DOS) of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) under the leadership of Mazi Chikadibia Edoziem announced the immediate abrogation of longstanding internal instruments and the adoption of a new institutional framework as part of what it described as the movement’s institutionalization process.
The resolution followed a leadership meeting of the DOS held on May 30, 2026, after a remembrance of past sacrifices. It stated that the body had received inputs from its structural representative organs and members before approving the measures. Edoziem signed the document as Head of the Directorate of State.
The DOS directed the immediate abrogation of the IPOB Global Family’s old Membership Oath of Allegiance, which had taken effect on July 28, 2018, and the Code of Conduct introduced on June 11, 2020. The memorandum noted that both instruments had previously been prepared and approved by the DOS itself, as evidenced by the official stamp on the Code of Conduct. It stated that these documents “have absolutely no place in the institutionalisation process going on within the global movement.”
In their place, the DOS approved a new Institutional Membership Oath of Allegiance, a new Biafran Pledge, and a new Constitution for the IPOB global family. These were framed as aligning with the institutionalization process, drawing on symbolic policies, rules of law and order from the first Republic of Biafra, customary and international norms relevant to the governance of the Indigenous People of Biafra, and the goal of restoring the sovereignty of the Republic of Biafra.
Key Provisions of the New Oath
According to the resolution, the new oath centers on:
a: Allegiance to IPOB led by the DOS
c: Allegiance to the Biafran people
d: Allegiance to the new constitutional order
e: Commitment to and defence of the core foundational principles of IPOB as a freedom movement
f: Upholding truth and the moral code in actions as members of the IPOB global family, irrespective of position or office
The new Constitution replaces the abrogated Code of Conduct and establishes governance of the IPOB global family in accordance with its provisions. It provides for two key leadership structures: the Directorate of State of the Indigenous People of Biafra and the Igwebuike Assembly of the Indigenous People of Biafra.
Pending the full constitution of the Igwebuike Assembly, the DOS is to continue piloting the affairs of IPOB, with a strict focus on the peaceful restoration of Biafran independence and the sovereignty of the first Republic of Biafra.
The DOS is composed of three functional organs: the Office of the Head of Directorate, the Office of the Deputy Head of Directorate, and the Secretariat of the Directorate headed by a Secretary General. The DOS is described as an organ of control. Its members serve as officers of the Directorate and principal servants in their capacities. It is headed by a Principal Officer, the Head of Directorate of State (HDOS), with a Deputy Head of Directorate of State (DHDOS).
The apex structure is mandated to supervise management of IPOB structures, including continental, regional, national, state, local government, zonal, and unit coordination. It oversees departments such as Foreign Affairs and Diplomacy, Legal, Finance, Welfare, Media and Communication, Security and Intelligence, Mobilization, Research and Development, Education, Agriculture, and Culture, through their respective departmental heads. The Constitution is presented as the “Grund Norm,” the guiding document of the movement’s activities.
The Secretariat, headed by a Principal Officer who is also a DOS officer, functions as an administrative organ focused on the appropriation of policies, expertise, and technical issues.
Leadership at any level is to be based on rules of law and order and constitutional provisions, with the principle of command and control applied, flowing from the DOS downward. The resolution affirms that IPOB shall uphold fundamental human rights, protect and maintain cultural values and national ethos as Indigenous People of Biafra, and guarantee due process rights.
Financial Transparency and Accountability Measures
The Constitution establishes an Audit Department responsible for financial audits. Annual financial statements and health checks are to be presented to the DOS before December 31 of each financial year for approval in the first month of the new year. A Pluri-Annual Budget Forecast Report is also to be submitted by the same deadline. Budgetary and financial re-assessment or appropriation is to occur mid-semester each financial year through the DOS and relevant organs. These steps are presented as strengthening transparency and accountability in the management of public funds.
The memorandum concludes with the invocation: “May CHUKWUOKIKEABIAMA Bless BIAFRA and Bless the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).”

IPOB Biafra land Leadership Issues Stern Warning to Nnamdi Kanu and Associates Over Factional Violence
The Leadership of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB Biafra land ) has issued a strong public warning to Nnamdi Kanu and his associates, declaring that the Biafran people will no longer tolerate acts of factional violence and disruption carried out in his name.
In a statement signed by the IPOB Publicity Secretary Biafra land, IPOB accused certain elements of engaging in extortion, torment, and armed assaults under the pretext of following Kanu’s orders. It emphasized that patience within the movement has been exhausted following Kanu’s official suspension, which was described as a measure to protect the organization’s integrity.
The leadership highlighted years of alleged misconduct by “criminal elements and hoodlums” claiming affiliation with Kanu, despite his access to legal teams and visitors. They noted that previous defenses of Kanu were rooted in a desire for unity, but that protection has now ended.
“While Kanu was the leader of this movement, leadership exercised extreme patience and defended him under the assumption of institutional unity. That shield is gone,” the statement read.
IPOB referenced a recent incident in Abia State where armed hoodlums reportedly invaded an official meeting, attempting to oust the Abia National Coordinator and seize control. The assailants claimed they were acting on direct instructions from Kanu after visiting him at the detention facility in Sokoto.
IPOB Biafra land demanded that Kanu immediately issue a public disclaimer through his lawyers or visitors to denounce these actions. Failure to do so, they warned, would be interpreted as confirmation that he is “actively working as an enemy of the Biafran people.”
While reaffirming commitment to a peaceful struggle, IPOB made clear that it would not allow continued attacks on its structures.
“Nobody is bigger than the collective will of the Biafran people. If any further attempt is made to attack our leadership or disrupt our structures, the people will be ordered to defend themselves and strike back,” the statement warned. “When that day of reckoning arrives, do not cry about the outcome.”
The leadership also pointed to the broader implications of internal divisions, suggesting they provide the Nigerian government opportunities to increase militarization in the region.
Nnamdi Kanu was sentenced to life imprisonment by the Nigerian court on terrorism charges. IPOB has maintained a policy of non-violent agitation in recent years.
Kanu’s suspension by IPOB directorates of state was a measure to protect the movement from groups using the name of Nnamdi Kanu to carry out violent actions.
This latest statement signals a hardening stance by the current IPOB leadership against any perceived attempts to undermine its authority through violence or infiltration.
As of the issuance of this warning, there has been no immediate public response from Kanu or his representatives. The situation remains tense, with potential for further confrontations in Biafra Land if the factions fail to de-escalate.
IPOB urged all parties to heed the warning and respect the collective will of the people to avoid bloodshed.

A movement should not be judged only by public demonstrations or media attention. As long as people continue to believe in its ideals and advocate for them, I would say it has not stagnated but is passing through a difficult and diplomatic phase which is still counting good 👍

IPOB Directorate of State Suspends Key Leadership Offices to Shield Movement from Militia Exploitation and False Attribution of Southeast Insecurity iconsnews.com/2026/06/ipob-d…
The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Directorate of State has indefinitely suspended the Office of the Leader (Mazi Nnamdi Kanu) and the Director of Radio Biafra with immediate effect.
In official statements dated 18th June 2026, the DOS cited the need to shield the movement from individuals and groups allegedly using the suspended offices to form new militias, commit atrocities, and instigate fresh violence in Biafraland, crimes that are routinely attributed to IPOB and the ESN.
The suspension aims to prevent criminal exploitation of IPOB’s name, protect innocent Biafrans from reprisals, and draw a clear line: any violence carried out under the suspended leadership offices will not be attributed to IPOB, but solely to the perpetrators.
This decisive internal measure highlights the urgent need to separate legitimate self-determination advocacy from criminal militancy and false-flag operations fueling insecurity in Nigeria’s South-East since 2021.

Nothing is stopping the institutionalization of the Biafra movement. Calm your nerves. DOS Is in charge
Let’s say the quiet part loud: Biafra isn’t a startup you can defund. It isn’t a campaign you can kill with press releases. It isn’t a “business” that closes when the shareholders get scared.
It’s an idea. And ideas don’t need your permission to exist.
While some are busy clutching pearls and drafting panic threads, the movement is doing what movements do: organizing, educating, building structures that outlast hashtags and headlines. That’s what “institutionalization” means. It means roots. It means archives. It means people training the next generation while opponents are still arguing about yesterday’s news cycle.
*To the opposition:*
Your panic is showing. The same people who called it “impossible” are now calling it “illegal” in 2026. Different decade, same fear of a people deciding their own future. You mock, you gaslight, you brand it “gangsters” because you ran out of arguments. That’s not strategy. That’s anxiety in a blazer.
You can’t debate a vision, so you criminalize the conversation. You can’t answer the questions of marginalization, so you attack the questioner. That’s not strength. That’s intellectual bankruptcy wearing state power as a costume.
Biafra doesn’t need your approval to be legitimate. Legitimacy comes from history, from identity, from millions who refuse to pretend that forgetting equals healing. You want “unity”? Unity without justice is just silence with better PR.
So calm your nerves. Stop the performative outrage. The world watched nations redraw themselves in the 20th century. It’s watching again now. The difference is: this time, the archives are digital, the diaspora is connected, and the idea has a memory that doesn’t depend on any one person.
Biafra isn’t a business. It’s a birthright. And birthrights don’t get delisted.
If you’re terrified of an idea, ask yourself why that idea terrifies you. Then ask yourself harder questions.
