we have 15million immigrants in the UK already, no houses, millions on the NHS waiting list, 2 trillion in debt and rising, just how many do you think we should take, presumably 35 million as each afghan is as worthy as the next

Odin is waiting for his new home, can you please share to help him on his way?
🐾
Odin is a beautiful 3 year old male Border Collie. He is available and looking for a new home.
Sadly due to the owners health , Odin needs someone who can provide him the stimulation and attention he needs. He is very much loved but would be best in a home with someone who can give him lots of walks and attention.
He is chipped and neutered and healthy with no concerns.
Odin can be wary of strangers to begin with and would need a little time to get use to anyone new.
He is okay with some pets and can be wary of others - due to this, he’d be best in a home with no other pets to save him any unsettlement.
Odin eats dry and wet food and is also crate trained.
He loves toys and can be strong on the lead.
Odin has had the same owner since being a pup.
He isn’t a fan of the hoover but does love to play with a ball.
He is more of a fan of women than men, so may be best with a lone female looking for company, although we will consider male households too.
Odin is very loving and affectionate. No cats.
For more information or to offer Odin a new home please email directly to [email protected]

Benny is a 3-year-old female Border Collie. She is seeking companionship and would love someone who can shower her in love and affection.
Benny is fine around cats and small dogs. She can be wary of larger dogs.
Benny has never been around kids so would need a home with no children, as this is what she is use too.
She is chipped and healthy with no medical issues.
Benny eats kibble and enjoys the chicken flavour. She also likes bananas and boiled eggs as a treat.
During the day she usually sleeps in her own bed but does like to cosy up to her owner at night.
She is used to travelling on the bus and just lays down. She can be wary of the noise of the bus.
Benny doesn't like to be left on her own, she does prefer company all of the time, so someone who is home all of the time is best.
She is registered at the vets and up to date with her vaccinations.
Benny likes treats.
She also likes to play with toys and loves a squeaky toy. She also likes hard chew toys and treats dispensing toys.
Benny loves to be petted and given attention. She is a big fan of kisses and loves going on walks.
She can be nervous with loud noises and bigger cars passing her by but is good at being distracted with a treat.
Benny isn't a fan of fireworks and on fireworks night she spent her time in the bathroom with the light off and her owner sat with her with a movie on her phone.
Benny will make a great companion pet to someone who is looking for a sweet and loving dog.

Bonded pair, available for adoption, registered British charity✅✅✅
Details or apply below 👇👇👇

We are looking a foster home, ideally with a view to adopt, for Millie and Sadie - a very bonded pair who need to come to us due to their owner’s very valid personal reasons.
The girl’s went to their current home as ex-breeders and they are believed to be around 9-10 years old.
The girls are lovely, sweet-natured girls who are used to living with children, other dogs, cats and being around horses, chickens and rabbits!
We would love a quiet, calm home for the girls, where they aren’t left for huge periods of time (though they are fine to be left).
They are housetrained, travel well and walk nicely on a lead.
Both girls are spayed so we would consider a home a little further afield. They will be under our care for health checks and restart vaccinations before adoption.
If you would like to be considered for this beautiful pair, please fill in an application form at yappyeverafter.org.uk
Please note, we will not be splitting them under any circumstances.
They are not showing on the website yet but more pictures are on the facebook page below.

He is use to going out himself but doesn’t go very far for very long.

'May I introduce Koda who was born April 2024. He is microchipped but it is not registered and no vaccinations and he is still entire. Koda is being rehomed because his original owner basically abandoned him onto his dad meaning he is stuck in a crate the majority of the time in a busy house, only getting out for short walks and to be fed.
Considering, Koda is a lovely lad! He is good with older children and other dogs, but can get over excited, understandably. No to cats. He walks quite nicely on lead and has basic commands, but recall needs a bit more work. Weare told he guards food, but that may be because he is slightly underweight, and he will destroy toys, probably due to frustration.
Koda had a very short spell in foster where it became apparent that he was very protective of the women in the house and was not at all happy when the males wanted to join the family group. Conclusions from this behaviour can be drawn and must be understood as this will be a major issue that needs to be worked with.
Koda basically needs a new start in life please in a home where he will have the space and attention to be the dog he should be. Would probably live with another dog with little trouble.' - German Shepherd Elite Rescue

German shepherd. Approx 8 years old
Majestic Percy is searching for his new family after arriving as a stray around Christmas time.
We have been working hard to get Percy’s coat in to shape as he was very matted, this has taken some time as we have been doing small amounts to make it less stressful for him, luckily he has been very tolerant. 💙
On arrival Percy was very underweight but we are pleased to say he has been gaining weight well and after full vets checks appears to be very healthy, he certainly doesn’t act like a dog of his age.
Percy will be looking for;
🐾 A German shepherd experienced home, with excellent knowledge of managing his coat.
🐾 An adult only home.
🐾 Pet free home.
🐾 An owner who is active, Percy can be very strong on the lead but walks nicely if using a gentle leader or similar.
🐾 Ideally a semi – rural home.
Percy is a big lad and shows typical traits of a loyal and intelligent German Shepherd, he has met new people without any issues but would benefit from bonding with a special person or two.

Like all the bullies she just wants to bond with people and belong. On her days off Amy was busy ringing around trying to secure a foster home so that we could say yes.
There is so much unseen dedication from our team.
Thankfully a wonderful couple said yes to offering her a home trial, and now Tigger has the chance to learn a different way of life . We will supporting her new family throughout the 1 month trial

A lovely update on Vinnie, settling into his new home.
''Vinnie (formerly Vincent) arrived in Edinburgh in the middle of July. He was very nervous and scared and for the first 2-3 weeks hid behind the curtains and furniture, hissing and growling when we tried to stroke him. He has gradually come out of his shell. He loves his food – his tail goes very bushy when wet food is around which is new to him. He is playful and lures us upstairs, checking that we are following him so that he can have a drink out the bath tap.
He was an indoor cat but now has started exploring our garden but is still nervous about the cat flap. He’s not a lap cat yet but we’re working on it!
Here attached are a few photos.''

Breed: Belgian Shepherd Dog (Malinois) Meet Merlin and Luka, a pair of charming Belgian #Malinois aged nine and seven. These loyal boys arrived at Bleakholt after their owner sadly had to move into a care home 💔 💔 💔 They have clearly been well loved and well trained: they walk beautifully on both lead and harness and remain calm and non-reactive around other dogs.
Although experience with Malinois is an advantage, it isn’t essential. They are large in size, yet their manners are impeccable.
Given their age and stature, Merlin and Luka would thrive as the only pets in the household. They would make ideal companions for a single person, a couple, or a family with older teenagers who are confident around bigger dogs.
