On Sunday, clocks across the US will return to where they should have been all along.

ALT A three-panel meme contrasts standard length, standard weight, and standard time. The first panel shows rulers with the text “Standard Length: 1 inch = 1 inch” beside a smiling bespectacled Wojak. The second shows metal weights with the text “Standard Weight: 1 pound = 1 pound” beside the same smiling character. The third shows a clock surrounded by suns with the text “Standard Time: noon = noon” beside a crying, distressed Wojak, humorously emphasizing support for permanent Standard Time and opposition to shifting clocks away from solar time.

Ilhan Omar’s naturalized citizenship is probably invalid for three reasons.
1) Her father allegedly lied on his asylum application. Nur Omar Mohamed wasn’t fleeing the violent genocidal Siad Barre regime in Somalia. He was part of it. He was a Colonel in the regime’s Army, likely specializing in propaganda. If he failed to disclose this on his asylum paperwork, that’s fraud. He, and his daughter Ilhan, would have entered the United States fraudulently.
2) Ilhan Omar claims she derived naturalized citizenship from her father. That’s a technical term. In order to qualify for “derived” naturalization, you must be a minor. 17 years old or younger. Ilhan Omar was naturalized in 2000, at age 17. Or was she? Public records during her time in the Minnesota state legislature show her birthdate as Oct 4, 1981, which would make her 18 at the time of naturalization, which would mean she was ineligible for it. When someone pointed this out after she was elected to Congress, Ilhan Omar had her congressional staff revise her birth date in public records, shifting it from 1981 to 1982. If she knowingly lied about her birth year, her naturalization is fraudulent.
3) To “derive” naturalization from her father, it is also required that Ilhan Omar’s father was in fact a naturalized citizen. But DHS has no record of Ilhan Omar’s father’s naturalization paperwork. Once someone dies, their naturalization paperwork becomes public record and anyone can FOIA request it. When FOIA’d, USCIS (the sub agency at DHS responsible for all naturalization paperwork), said they had no paperwork for Ilhan Omar’s father. If he was not naturalized, Ilhan Omar could not legally derive naturalized citizenship from him.
Ignore the MSM hacks who are claiming “Trump’s raid on Ilhan Omar violates all norms!” No. What violates norms is breaking the law and fraudulently entering our country. If we don’t enforce laws when they are broken, we have no country.
We are facing the very real possibility that a Somali foreign national who hates America defrauded her way into the U.S. Congress.
Denaturalize her. Deport her.

here is an example of rocks reflecting light
the trick is to shine light on them
like the sun does with the moon
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Rocks including the Moon are visible because they reflect light via diffuse reflection on rough surfaces. Moonlight is reflected sunlight; the Moon has an albedo of about 0.12.

Theoretically, if conclusive evidence came out today that a Senate candidate in the state of Texas had to be hospitalized in a mental health facility because he couldn’t handle the stress of running a campaign, would his mental fragility disqualify him from office?

Definitions
Let S be an agent and x an act of S.
D1. Act: something S does, as opposed to something that happens to S.
D2. Culpable: S is culpable for x iff S can rightly be held to answer for x, and so is blameworthy if x is wrong.
D3. Rational self-governance (RSG): S's reason directs x. Appetite, passion, compulsion, or madness does not.
D4. Internal origination (IO): the origin of x lies in S, not in external force or manipulation.
D5. Epistemic adequacy (EA): S knows the morally relevant features of x.
D6. Endorsement (E): x comes through S's internal act of judgment or assent, not mere reflex.
D7. Free will (FW): S acts with free will in x iff RSG, IO, EA, and E all hold for x.
Relations
R1. FW ↔ Culpable. (definition)
R2. ¬FW → ¬Culpable. (Necessity)
R3. FW → Culpable. (Sufficiency)
R4. ¬Culpable → ¬FW. This is the contrapositive of R3, so it is equivalent to R3.
R5. Each standard excuse removes at least one property:
•Coercion removes IO.
•Ignorance removes EA.
•Compulsion removes RSG and E.
•Mental incapacity removes RSG.
•Accident removes E.
R6. So each excuse entails ¬FW, and by R2, ¬Culpable.
Status
R1 states the boundary conditions any metaphysical account of free will must meet. It does not claim that anyone has free will.

Of course he name drops an obscure Italian-American communist who was against America's participation in World War 2 and was investigated by the FBI for his ties to the international communist party.
Of all the great men and women of Italian descent who've contributed to New York City and the United States, this is the idiot he picks.
He is physically incapable of being anything other than a loathsome propagandist for communism.
As the most prominent Italian-American in city government, please allow me to formally disinvite you from ever mentioning Italian heritage ever again.
And yes, we Italians came here to work, create businesses, dig the subways, build the buildings -- and it was indeed a struggle. A struggle a rich kid like Zohran could never know. But we didn't ask for any handouts. There was no welfare, millions of us came here knowing there was only ourselves, our work, and our community -- and we thrived. We wanted to become Americans, and our people were proud to learn the language and wave the American flag.
And when the time came, millions of Italian-Americans returned to Europe to fight World War 2, my father included. Many of them had to fight their own former countrymen in Mussolini's Italy. And they did exactly that, because they were nothing less than Americans.
Quite the opposite of the current immigrant situation championed by people like Zohran, where we invite lazy and entitled foreigners to loot the treasury without asking anything in return, as they resentfully fly the flags of their own nations -- and could never be counted on to defend America.
My mother was a widow who raised five children on her own, working in a button factory. We didn't take a penny of government assistance. We relied on ourselves. It was hard work, but we did it, and we were grateful. And today I sit on the City Council, representing the very neighborhood I grew up in.
That's what being an Italian-American in New York means. Not the communist propaganda Zohran is pushing here.
It's about hard work, independence, heritage, and most importantly, pride in being an American above all else.

It’s with a heavy heart that I’m sharing the Ditka family has announced the passing of Mike Ditka this morning.
Da Coach. Hall of Famer. The heartbeat of the ’85 Bears and a Super Bowl champion. Chicago won’t be the same.
Prayers to Diana and the family.
RIP, Coach. 🐻⬇️
Here’s a statement from the family:
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, Mike Ditka. While the world knew Mike as a Hall of Fame football player, legendary coach, and leader of the Chicago Bears’ Super Bowl XX championship team, we knew him as the heart of our family. Mike will be missed beyond measure and remembered forever.
With love and gratitude, The Ditka Family

Henry VIII did not found the Anglican Church.
Christianity existed in Britain nearly 1,500 years before the English Reformation. Ancient tradition identifies St. Aristobulus as Britain’s first bishop, and by AD 314, British bishops were already attending Church councils.
This was no Protestant invention. It was the ancient Catholic Church in Britain, with bishops, sacraments, creeds, and an episcopal ministry rooted in apostolic tradition.
When Augustine of Canterbury arrived in AD 597, he did not bring Christianity to an unchristian land. He encountered an existing British Church whose bishops would not simply submit to his authority.
The English Reformation did not abolish the episcopate and invent a new ministry. Anglican bishops continued to be consecrated by bishops, preserving the historic episcopal succession and claiming continuity with the ancient Catholic Church.
Anglicanism’s claim is not that it began with Henry VIII. It is that the Church in England existed long before him, remained Catholic in faith and order, and rejected the necessity of papal supremacy.
Catholic does not mean Roman. Apostolic does not mean papal. And reformation does not mean foundation.
The Church of England was not born in the 1530s. Its ancient roots reach back to the earliest centuries of Christianity.

Free will is the necessary and sufficient condition to rightly hold an agent morally culpable for their actions.
