I don’t know how this game survived the entire restructuring of Ubisoft. They must think this game will make them billions.
Beyond Good & Evil 2 reportedly remains in early pre-production nearly 20 years after its original announcement.
• Ubisoft Montpellier is working on the game with around 250 developers.
• The team is said to be developing a proof-of-concept demo before the project can move into full production.
• The current version is reportedly focused on a single-player, story-driven experience.
• Co-op is still being considered.
• The project has undergone major changes during its long development, including a reported shift away from its previous multiplayer-focused direction.
• Ubisoft has not announced a release date.
Beyond Good & Evil 2 was originally announced in 2008.
