Super intelligence is now beginning to make drugs to help us, maybe even cure cancer and a lot more important stuff.
Over the past few months, Anthropic scientists have engaged in deep research partnerships with six organizations developing new medicines. We've also begun drug discovery efforts of our own.
In doing so, we’ve learned much more about how Claude can support the many stages of drug development.

Anthropic is getting $63 billion worth of AI chips and networking equipment through a massive financing deal involving Broadcom and Wall Street.
A new entity will buy the equipment from Broadcom and lease it to Anthropic, with deliveries starting in 2027. Bank of America, Citi and Morgan Stanley are arranging the senior financing, while Blackstone is providing the committed junior financing. Broadcom is also providing lenders with support against a decline in the equipment's value.

Demis Hassabis says today's AI "will be nothing compared to the systems that are coming down the road in one, two years."
But most people skipped what he said right before that.
He called today's AI incidents "serious warning shots for the industry" and is calling for a standards body to test and certify frontier AI systems.
Cyber issues are already here. His bigger worry is bio, and even nuclear.
His point: get a grip on it now, while the models are still this weak.
