This is absolute personnel malpractice Clayton White.
And for that matter WHY is Beamer allowing it?!
Sellers overthrowing DJ on the go.
Cyrus tripping up Mazeo on the long catch and run.
Missed Orsan field goal.
17 points right there.
You've let a team with their backs against the wall and still possessing talented players hang around.
Now, you're in danger zone territory.
Unacceptable defensive outing in terms of physicality and efficiency being allowed.
First year OC who probably won't have the role after this year, yet we're struggling to stop them.

This is what I thought as well.
There's no chance 40,000 people "arrived at the gates within 30 minutes."
Maybe they scanned their tickets during that timeframe .... after waiting in line at the gate
Replying to @jordankaye_23
Shifting blame to fans, USC Athletics said, "During the Tennessee game, more than 40,000 fans arrived at the gates within 30 minutes prior to kickoff." Not sure how that data point was reached. If counting by ticket scan times, it leaves out how long people waited at gates.
That is a more generous spot than I think most Gamecock fans were expecting.
This is a potential signal that the committee is leaving the door, albeit barely cracked, open...

Most Improved Offensive Lines, 2026 (thru Wk 9) ⬇️
- 25 lines up 38 to 109 spots from last year. 15 have a new OL coach, 19 a new OL coach or OC. Some of that is bad lines getting coaches fired, then bouncing. So we checked what else changed: talent, experience, and who they’ve actually blocked…
- We flagged South Carolina, Houston and UCLA in August as bounce-back rooms on roster alone, before Briles or Kennedy called a snap.
/ Houston (#110 to #5): zero blue chips, same OC and OL coach. All 5 starters had a full season of starts somewhere before this year
/ South Carolina (#125 to #16): Briles + Randy Clements year one, and it’s legit. Half their opponents have a top-25 defense. TCU, the line they left, went #66 to #130
/ UCLA (#113 to #21): new staff, but the schedule went from the 6th toughest set of defenses in the country to 109th
/ Pitt, Liberty, Tulsa: same OL coach, 3 to 4 starters back. The room grew up
/ @CoachMateos at Wisconsin (#127 to #52): younger line than last year, fewer blue chips, 2 starters back, nobody with more than one season of starts, and they’ve blocked a top-35 slate. Arkansas, the room he left, went #62 to #96
....biggest declines in the replies.
Ranks = cfbquant.com OL grade (pass pro + run game), 138 teams. Schedule = strength of defenses faced. Starting season = 400+ snaps.

Seeing a lot of pictures of low attendance across CFB today.
1. The cost of living is high. These ticket prices are outrageous.
2. For years college football fans have been loud about not liking the direction the sport is headed. Yet the people in charge have doubled down and ripped away a lot of what made CFB unique and different. Example: 24 team playoff is extremely unpopular amongst CFB fans yet they did it anyway. Ignoring the customers is never a good long term business model.

Nice! Two @GamecockFB here and Irmo’s @3mmanwori making sure everyone knows: “The Real USC”
Tennessee fans when the opposing coach dares to address up the conspiratorial vomit they've been spewing nonstop for almost four years:
Glad I don't coach.
Through all that chaos, found a way.
Today, and any day in that spot, everyone will take that.
Trying to keep the cynical side in me from coming out right now.
How many more times do we have to see this before we just agree from the top down this is who we are under this coach?
