If you are going to be my Secret Santa this Christmas, please gift me this.
I really love using Gemini Notebook to build mind maps for the podcast episodes I listen to. It helps me remember more of what I have heard. And in a more structured way. Check this one for the latest episode of @amitvarma's Watching the Wheels.
You’re on a planet where octopuses have three hearts, trees communicate through fungal networks, birds migrate across continents, coral reefs teem with life, and tiny bees help feed the world. Don’t forget to stop and appreciate how beautiful the Earth is.

This the current universe of Podcasts I listen to. Everything is Everything is no longer doing new episodes. The Marked Corner is my own podcast that has one episode. The shows I almost never miss a new episode of are Watching the Wheels, Empire, Acquired and The Seen and The Unseen. For the others, I may miss episodes if the guest or the subject are not of my interest or I am not curious about.
After listening to a thought provoking Watching the Wheels episode on what our approach to protecting environment should be without pulling back on development and growth, I have ordered these two books. Looking forward to reading them. Also, link to the episode youtu.be/froFGPKI8vg?si=2iG1…
The real narrative of this Liv - City game is that City has again needed an unfair advantage to win it. That’s that.

Anytime I am asked for someone’s private information, I politely say, ‘their story to tell, not mine’ and leave it at that.
I feel that most people who trade information on other people’s lives do not know more ways of forming connection with someone. So they go for the lowest hanging fruit.
If you have more to offer, and ability to listen, you can connect with others on deeper things.
Recently I completed listening to this fascinating story on Joseph Stalin on @EmpirePodUK. The more I read / listen / watch stories of autocrats, I see so many similarities in how they rose through the ranks, gathered power and stayed or expanded their power. And none of it is happy reading. It’s horrible what power can do to men. youtube.com/playlist?list=PL…
What a drama queen.
🔴⚪️ Mikel Arteta: “On my first day as new Arsenal manager, I had demolished the office”.
“I just destroyed the office and put everything on the floor — the computers, the laptops, the cables. Then I brought everybody in”, told @TheAthleticFC.
“I said: ‘If you want me to help you enjoy your profession and your life and the passion that we all share, you have two minutes to put this in order and be ready to work together.’”
“That could have been my managerial career because if that would have stayed the same way, I had no job anymore!”.
