We ain't choosing between a system that works and universal healthcare. This system is broken and unsustainable. We need a different solution and now. Here are the conservative go-to scare tactics:
1. Too expensive. No. Studies confirm we'd save trillions every year.
2. Wait times. You know who's not on a wait list? 50,000 Americans who die every year without access.
3. Poor service. Talk to Canada. And Italy, and Sweden, and Israel and every other developed country whose citizens don't go bankrupt when they get cancer.
