This was a prevalent narrative when President Tinubu situated a Federal University in Southern Kaduna. There are 5 federal universities already functioning in Kaduna and 2 underway.
ONLY ONE CAME TO SOUTHERN KADUNA and there was an uproar. I admonish us all to be objective, live in peace and be brotherly to one another. One group's growth after years of neglect does not warrant such vitriol. 🙏🏽
This cannot be more different from what the president’s men are trying to do. Our region needs healing, not an amplification of our fault lines. Curious as to how effective this identity based approach will be without tackling the wider issues, especially in the north. We all go to the same markets and petrol stations regardless of tribe or religion anyway.
May Kaduna & Nigeria get the best from all parties. Amen. 🙏🏾

A few hours ago, I had the privilege of engaging with members of the Fourth Estate of the Realm — the NUJ Correspondence Chapel, Kwara State Chapter — where I shared my vision, plans, and programmes to take our dear state to greater heights as the next Governor of Kwara State, Insha Allah, come May 29, 2027.
Top on my agenda, as discussed with the journalists, is SECURITY — a fundamental requirement for development. Our government will sustain collaboration with critical stakeholders to strengthen the security of lives and property of our people. Human capital development, agriculture, electricity, and rural infrastructure will also receive top priority when we come on board by the special grace of God.
I commend the NUJ Correspondence Chapel for putting this interactive programme together and for providing me the platform to share with the public the programmes and policies that will shape my administration.
Thank you, Kwara journalists. Together, we will build the Kwara of our dreams.

“Many of our rural areas have never seen electricity polls before as at 2019. In my constituency, we partnered with private investors for installation of commercial solar mini grid to communities.
In Gwanara, my hometown, we have 24hours electricity access, same with communities like Budo-Aiki, Bukuro, Bode, Boriya among others. When we get to government, we will advance the mini solar grid to rural communities across the State.”

That school today, has produced Professors, military generals, doctors among others.
