I thought Amorim "changed?" Now to be clear, I didn't watch the game. In fact, I haven't watched a single minute of AC Milan this season. But the build-up to Ferencvaros' first goal, although ultimately gifted to them by a silly goalkeeping mistake, brought back some serious war flashbacks. 5-2-3 OOP, minimal pressure, and opponents allowed far too much space beside and behind the pivots. CBs are asked to jump out to negate any overloads, but this inevitably creates clear gaps in the backline, especially when opponents use their movements to manipulate the "fixed" CBs.
