My father had polio. His dominant arm never fully developed and was just short of useless. He still worked out and was incredibly strong otherwise. If you were ever at Seal Beach in the 80s and 90s you would have seen him body surfing next to me on my board.

You just lack imagination and can’t conceive of a physical duel being anything other than “bare-knuckle fist-fight”. There’s myriad scenarios where athleticism would give u the upper hand ie any melee combat which involves greater dexterity and more dynamic movement
