Did you know that @BorisJohnson's government have quietly changed the elegibility for Warm Home Discount? Disabled people will now NOT be allowed to claim it, despite being the section of people who have the highest energy usage. They're actively punishing us for being disabled.

For parents and young people living in Newham, it isn't news that the Borough has inadequate child disability healthcare, low quality EHC Plans, 2 year waiting lists for ASC assessments, weak leadership.

My 16 yr old daughter has moderate #learningdisabilities. In the night she built her dressing table by herself (I had been putting off for wks). She followed the awful instructions perfectly. I only saw it built when I went to give her her meds this morning! I am so proud of her!

We're still very disappointed that @LiamFox failed to accept our invitations to discuss the wider consequences of the wording of his DS bill. We're not sure why it had to be pushed through so quickly. We're working with our associate charities to plan our next steps for inclusion

Replying to @DavidDidau
Also the event hasn’t happened yet so how does @gfreeman2012 know that there won’t be discussion of SEND? I am sure all the teachers speaking have knowledge & experience of that too.
