Own a small business and AI feels like a lot? Start here. I'm Adam, an Orlando native. I teach teams to use AI on the work they already do, and build it when owners would rather have it done. Every weekday, one thing you can actually do with AI. No hype!

Before I'd buy another AI tool, I'd give the one I already pay for a one-page cheat sheet about my business. What we sell, what it costs, how we talk, and what we never promise. Then I'd check its first few answers like I would with a new hire. What's the one thing every new employee gets wrong at your place?
one of the highest ROI things you can do for your business this week: build one folder that teaches Claude your whole business i did this with a business owner this month, and his lead research cut from 2 hours to 10 minutes 1. list every app you open in a week, work or personal Gmail, QuickBooks, Square, your CRM, your calendar 2. find which ones have an API, MCP or CLI and connect them (that's what lets an AI agent go into Square and change your prices instead of telling you how) 3. prompt Claude to interview you "interview me about my business one question at a time. keep going until you could train my next hire without me" 4. walk it through a normal week in plain english how customers find you, how you deliver, how you get paid 5. turn it all into the folder "read everything i gave you and build a project folder of .md files: my business, my customers, my tools and how i work" (.md files are plain text notes your agent reads before every task) it's all just files, so it moves with whatever agent you use: Claude Code, Codex, Grok Bot, Hermes after that you stop asking AI questions and start handing it jobs

The money is almost never in the cool idea. It's in the boring problem people already pay to make go away (bugs in the garage count). If I owned a local shop I'd write down the exact words customers use when they call, and make sure my site and Google profile answer those words first. What's the boring problem your customers pay you to fix?
Someone built a $14M ecommerce business selling electronic pest-control products. And it's making nearly $3M a year in profit. Insane! The founder launched in 2024, selling chemical-free pest-control devices through Shopify. And the numbers are pretty wild. > $14.1M TTM revenue > $2.9M adjusted EBITDA > $1.7M revenue last month > $403K profit last month > 20% EBITDA margins Just 5 products and a lean operation with outsourced fulfillment. Pretty incredible what founders can build by taking an everyday household problem and creating a better product around it. Now live on @acquiredotcom. Full listing: app.acquire.com/startup/7hby…

The shop that answers after 6 pm gets the job. A listing making the rounds shows an AI phone setup for plumbers and HVAC shops where about 40% of the appointments get booked after hours. The call comes in at 9 pm. Nobody picks up. The job goes to whoever does. You do not need their whole stack tomorrow. You need one honest number. 1. Pull last week's missed and after-hours calls. 2. Count how many were real jobs, not spam. 3. Pick one fix for this week. A person on a late shift, a callback rule by 8 am, or an answering setup that books the slot. The competitor who answers first usually wins the quote! When does your phone stop getting answered on a weeknight?

honest question for owners. how many real job calls hit after you hang it up for the night?

This is the real scoreboard for owners. Not more hours in the office. A team that runs when you leave and nothing blows up. AI helps with the boring admin that frees leaders to build that team. It does not replace the people who make this possible.
I’m going to be a miss braggy pants, but I am so proud of our team!! I sent our operations manager, Sabria, on a team building retreat last week in Texas. I too also went out of town to Kentucky. Neither one of us checked in with the team, nor did either of us get any calls from the office. The team ran the business by themselves without any input from either of us, and there were no fires to put out when we returned. Keep in mind we run a very busy home service business. This is what freedom looks like for an owner and leaders in your company.

Your best marketing is sitting in your camera roll! Swipe for the 5 minute habit I'd start after every job. Do your job photos ever make it to your Google profile, or do they stay on your phone?

Uber just handed ChatGPT to 30,000 employees, with training to back it up. You don't need 30,000 seats. You need one task done well. Try this today, it takes 10 minutes! 1. Open your Sent folder and look at your last 20 emails. 2. Find the one you write almost the same way every time. Quotes, follow-ups, scheduling. 3. Paste your last 3 versions into ChatGPT and ask it to turn them into one template you can reuse. 4. Use it on the next one and fix what it gets wrong. Which email would you turn into a template first?
Uber is giving OpenAI’s ChatGPT Work agent to more than 30,000 employees, 30 times the size of its 1,000-person pilot. Engineers keep Codex, leaving ChatGPT Work to operations, finance, marketing and product staff, supported by internal skills and training. Uber hasn’t disclosed the cost or any productivity results. This rollout lands a month after Uber cut about 3,300 roles, though the company hasn’t linked ChatGPT Work to those cuts.

When people ask me “why @Cloudflare”? I’m gonna send them this post. Because all my systems and all my customers and agents kept on running and I sleep well knowing that their team is thinking about these types of of threats every day and making the internet as safe as possible in the age of AI. Thank you Cloudflare
Some stats on #php2shell. In the 10 hours before it was publicly announced, across the @Cloudflare network we saw thousands of attempts to exploit it. That jumped to tens of thousands in the 45 minutes post announcement, hundreds of thousands within 2 hours, and millions now.

If there was ever a perfect use case for AI, this would rank pretty high. I have my agents working 24/7 so you better start now 🤘🏻

If game devs really want to add in AI to their games, make it voice AI that can say my custom character name using the same in-game voice. I want my @Aniimo_EN character to start calling me Xenotoot instead of “hey”

I put @bot through his paces today for real client work and I have to say I'm extremely impressed. Ran multiple creative pipelines including generating over 300 creative assets. And it even hand-rolled its own custom vector generation script which saved me about $20 in api costs alone and the results were just as good if not better than @recraftai (sorry guys!) In addition to that work it worked for over an hour in Canva building out 36 static and animated templates with A/B versions and copy plus did a bunch of research for me and handled everything flawlessly. I think today was probbably one of my best days ever working with an agentic system to get real paying work done. I even upgraded to Pro+ just because it was that good. @elonmusk and the @xai team + @cursor_ai team really have created something special here and I'm pumped up to push it even further!

Game over 🤘🏻 @bot
Important note regarding Grok @Bot: Going forward, @SpaceX will use the best back end model for any given task, including Claude Opus 5.5, MidJourney, Suno and other leading APIs. Whatever is most likely to give you the best outcome.

While I appreciate the transparency, even I have limits. @HyperFrames_ @HeyGen please provide a way to opt out of this

For those of you who don’t know, my background was in VFX and Motion Design before AI and let me tell you something… This is one of the most groundbreaking advances in rotoscoping and matte generation I’ve ever seen. If it works the way they are showing in these clips, we’ve entered a whole new era.
The last drop of VFX Week: Alpha Gen (Beta). Give it an ordinary RGB clip and get back an alpha matte that matches your plate frame for frame. No green screen, no masks, no prompt. Built for the edges that are hard to key or roto: hair, fur, smoke, fire, glass, water. 🧵
