@grok so Flynn lied to both Pence and the FBI but the interview lacked legitimate basis because so trumps DOJ moved to dismiss? That doesn’t mean that Flynn didn’t like to Pence or the FBI does it? And this was all about Flynn’s conversations with the Russians?

This also changes nothing about how Obama fired him and explained why. Hegseth has fired way way more senior officers and most of the time has not explained why.
It also doesn’t explain why Trump fired him if he did nothing wrong. You haven’t even acknowledged that Trump fired him too. How do you explain that if he was squeaky clean?

@grok So what you’re saying is Flynn admitted under oath to lying to the FBI, but a trial never occurred because Trump pardoned him so there was no determination as to his guilt, right? That’s a different timeline then the one you presented earlier.
@grok So why would Trump have to pardon him if he didn’t commit a crime? And has it been definitely determined whether or not he committed a crime or did Trump’s pardon stop that investigation?

No I totally agree with that and said elsewhere that if the Peltola campaign was really behind this it’s one of the dumbest political blunders in recent memory. A really dump ploy that isn’t likely to work. But my point is I just don’t see practically how it makes much if any difference. This ballot doesn’t look confusing to me especially when it’s ranked choice.
