All Africans treated equally under law & women’s rights must be respected. Know ppl find it hard but it’s doable to even just think this way
I can do both, whether I like it or not, because we can’t have Africans targeting & firing each other based on issues of who we are, na.
I can be concerned with being suddenly kicked out of rental flats, facing hate crimes based in homophobia & still think the discourse is 💩
I think queer theory & trans discourse is hella homophobic, racist, sexist but don’t think I ignore other basic (civil) rights in practice.
I don’t think I’ve read about Black gay & lesbian activism & then NOT fighting against racism & exposing the racism of White gays & lesbians
Because Black peopp aren’t violently homophobic towards us - fire us from jobs in our own communities, kicked out of one’s family home?
