Chicago is facing three crises: a financial crisis, a public safety crisis, and a crisis of confidence in City Hall.  Instead of solutions, the current administration has given us a Head Tax that kills jobs, $480 million in new debt, and a Personal Property Lease Tax -  making everyday life more expensive for Chicagoans. Every one of those decisions makes it harder for Chicago to grow its way out of this crisis. Chicago needs a plan built by someone who has actually managed a fiscal crisis before. Last week, I presented my Growth Plan for a brighter Chicago under a Mayor Mendoza administration. Stay tuned for Part 2, where I lay out how we get Chicago back on track. Then these same "voters" or their families who voted to retain these Judges, will call for justice when these judges release the criminal who causes harm or death to them or their loved ones. Only in #CookCounty
Voters have retained every Cook County judge — including the one who released the Blue Line fire attacker on an ankle monitor. 70% of Cook County voters wanted her back on the bench. Meanwhile, 72% of Chicagoans want gunshot detection back, BRANDON. cwbchicago.com/2026/11/gunsh…

This is what America voted for? #Elections2026
"We will rip ICE apart!" "We must pass universal healthcare!" "I will fight to abolish ICE!" Democratic election winners across the country outlining their priorities, from universal health care and abolishing ICE to ending the war in Iran. Their remarks come as Democrats celebrate election wins and prepare for a shift in power in Congress.

Nope because people cry, hoot and holler for change but will vote the one taking all the change out of your pocket, your children's piggy bank, and the change under the pillow cushions right back in office. #Chicago #Illinois #ElectionDay
It’s Election Day in Illinois! Will voters choose Darren Bailey for a change in leadership, or give JB Pritzker another four years? Illinois, the decision is yours. Who do you think will win?

All the Illinois Democrats have the same end game, blame #Trump for everything, but meanwhile hardworking Illinoisans and businesses continue to shoulder the burden of their continued idiotic leadership. #Tuesday

Major companies that left Illinois under JB Pritzker: • Boeing → Virginia (2022) — closer to the Pentagon • Caterpillar → Texas (2022) — ~230 HQ jobs. Lower taxes • Citadel → Florida (2022) — Griffin cited crime (employees mugged & stabbed) + taxes. From ~1,100 jobs down to ~200 • Tyson Foods → Arkansas (2022) • TTX → North Carolina (2023) • Morton Salt → Kansas (2024) — founded in Chicago in 1848 • PEAK6 → Texas (2025) Why they left: High taxes (Illinois 9.5% corporate rate, one of the highest), crime in Chicago, pension costs, and a bad business climate. Texas and Florida have no traditional corporate income tax. Boeing also wanted to be near regulators. Caterpillar had warned Illinois years earlier about competitiveness. What they took: High-paying jobs and tax revenue. Citadel alone is estimated to have cost Illinois $100–250 million a year in taxes. Caterpillar moved corporate roles. Tyson closed its Chicago offices. Overall, Illinois lost 218 businesses to other states in 2023 alone — triple the pre-pandemic rate. How it hurts Illinois: Those jobs and HQs paid income and corporate taxes that fund schools, roads, and services. When they leave, the tax base shrinks and the burden falls harder on the people and businesses that stay. Finance jobs stayed soft after Citadel left. Real companies, real reasons, real money and jobs gone. Illinois lost real money when these companies left, and the biggest documented hit came from Citadel. After Ken Griffin moved the firm to Miami, estimates put the recurring annual loss in state and local tax revenue at $100–250 million from the employees and company combined. Griffin himself had been paying more than $200 million a year in Illinois state income taxes at his peak, and that revenue disappeared with him. High-paying headquarters and finance jobs generate outsized income, sales, and related taxes, so the departures of Citadel, Caterpillar’s corporate roles, Tyson’s Chicago offices, and the others reduced the tax base that funds schools, infrastructure, and services. Exact statewide totals across every company are hard to pin down because most firms do not publicly report their full Illinois tax payments, but the pattern is clear: when these operations left, the money and the high-wage jobs went with them, leaving a smaller tax base and more pressure on the residents and businesses that stayed. Would you vote for a governor who watched major companies pack up their headquarters, take high-paying jobs and hundreds of millions in tax revenue with them, and still claims Illinois is open for business? JB Pritzker really sat there and let Boeing, Caterpillar, Citadel, and the rest pack up and leave with the jobs and tax money, then still tries to act like Illinois is open for business. Make it make sense.

Shoplifting is mostly a ticket now in Illinois under $150.00. So imagine trying to help out your untrained Security friend and now you're blind. Rule of thumb is that you don't know what a person has on them weapon wise....until its to late. #Chicago

She was 20 years old and already held commercial, multi-engine, instrument, and flight instructor qualifications. Whether she had enough experience on that particular aircraft is a fair question. But there's zero evidence her age had anything to do with the crash. Nine people died. Her family just lost a daughter. Pretty tasteless headline.

This video shows you first hand how short handed the @Chicago_Police Department is. Secondly, it shows you how scared this particular Officer was. Not just scared for her physical well being, but scared of being crucified by #ChicagosMayor #COPA and so called activists when she had every right under the law to deploy her taser due to his reckless behavior towards her and the @CFDMedia Firefighters. Interesting how none of the "Community" who was gathered around offered to help to defuse or assist. She froze, the Firefighter did her job. Not a good look. #Chicago
A man gets knocked out cold by a Chicago firefighter after attempting to attack him! Witnesses say he was also trying to attack a female police officer.
