A fitting end to a 12 days of touring in Normandy and the Netherlands. On the 82nd Anniversary of Op Marker Garden, we made it to the John Frost Bridge. In great company with @Agrbez and @battlefieldgron. In the footsteps doesn’t get more poignant than this, always a special place to visit.
I think Wind and Wuthering by Genesis might be a masterpiece. What say @almurray?
Presumably Ian Wright has been shopping at Target. #itvfootball #worldcup
Me and my carer.
Great second day out on the @WeHappyFew506 tour, today accompanied and supported by @Agrbez. We moved from marshalling camps to airfields covering both the stories of the US 82nd and 101st Airborne Division in the build up to D-Day.

Nearing completion of @militaryhistori 1945 Victory in the West and, honestly, I cannot tell you how good it is. Peter is the bench mark, in my opinion, the detail he goes to, his understanding of the war Militarily and Politically, superb. Strongly recommended!
I've not posted on this platform for some time as sadly it's not what it once was but I'm jumping back on it post a quick thread to raise some support for a project I've started with a friend that is very close to my heart and needs every penny it can get.

We're also hosting a ticketed event at RAF Langar on the 25th of October, details again on the facebook page, but this event will see some of best historians on Airborne Operations in WW2 do presentations including two remotely from the US by notable historian Marty Morgan, /5
When are we going to stop being robbed for football shirts? Would have loved to get my daughters England shirts with name on the back, like Chloe Kelly. £140 for two shirts. So much emphasis on getting young girls into the sport and yet they can't support their fave players. – at Coalville, England
For the love of God @skytv what the hell is wrong with the audio on SkyF1? – at Coalville, England
Seriously what is going on with the pitch? No one else's looks this bad. #dcfc
Damn. Right in the feels. It has been a pleasure watching this man grow into a superb centre back who deserves a shot in the Prem. – at Coalville, England
Eiran Cashin has left Derby County to join Premier League club Brighton & Hove Albion.
He rose through @DCFCAcademy to make a total of 144 appearances in black and white.
Everyone at the club would like to thank Eiran for his service and wish him every success in the future. 🖤
I have been very quiet on this platform for a while now, I don't enjoy using it anymore, so apologies to those who do enjoy my posts. That said, I'm going to sack it off I think, so please please follow me on blue-sky at agrbez.bsky.social and I'll return the favour! – at Normanton Le Heath, England

Excellent morning with @Agrbez @ShaunColdicutt and @WW2Explorer at Bradgate Park, Leicester. We had a really good walk and talk exchanging ideas and stories on the wartime use of the park. The main focus on the US 82nd Airborne Division units based here in the build up to D-Day, and how the ranges were setup. It’s amazing what hidden history is here.
