I built a self-hostable document sharing platform. Not Dropbox. Not Google Drive. Something leaning closer to a virtual data room - where you actually control what happens after a link is sent. Introducing HexShare. 🧵

I believe BRF politics has been overlooked and underrated. This man had 800,000 votes in 2007 and 1,500,000 in 2011. No governor in Lagos beats this margin, this was also at the height of political subterfuges in Lagos state. If there is someone that knows how to get the “low propensity voters” in Lagos state, it’s Fashola. Little wonder since he left the scene, Lagos APC lost those low propensity voters. Fashola flipped Ibeju Lekki and Badagry ( used to be strong PDP stronghold). Fashola won all 20 LGAs in his second term, including Ojo, Ajeromi ifelodun, Oshodi. Never achieved in Lagos state. Go check how poorly APC have performed since he left the scene. Fashola is a political enigma.
I’m inclined to agree but I’m not sure of has political capital. I still think PBAT needs to still tutor him a bit more.

Dear @Elkrosmediahub I sometimes get tired correcting you guys. But I will continue to do so for the sake of history. Let me repeat what I explained to your fellow Obidient @Uptownoflagos in the past regarding the same claim of Obi building the first 10-lane road in the south east. The road you are bragging about is a section of the FEDERAL ROAD from 1st Niger Bridge to Enugu popularly known as the Enugu-Onitsha expressway. This road has been existing for decades. Around 45km of this road is in Anambra State, that is, from Onitsha head bridge to Amansea (just after Awka the state capital). Peter Obi after getting approval from FG rehabilitated the section from Head Bridge to Odumodu junction just after Nkpor - that's less than 25km. From Odumodu to Amawbia and to Amansea (border with Enugu State) is not part of it. Most importantly, the road is not a 10-lane road. It is a 6-lane road. Peter Obi did not construct any 10-lane road in Anambra State. Don't edit history. In fact, Governor Chinwoke Mbadinuju (Odera) was the first and only Governor till date in Anambra State to construct an 8-LANE road in 2002 - the road from Aroma junction to the three-arms zone. He did so with lesser resources o. Now back to what Obi constructed in Onitsha. For those who don't know Onitsha and Nkpor well let me break this down and Cross I hope I won't have to do this again. The main Enugu-Onitsha expressway from Head Bridge to Awka and all the way to Enugu is six lanes. There are two service lanes on either side of the express road from Onitsha head Bridge to Upper Iweka interchange (which feeds into the Onitsha-Owerri road) and then from Upper Iweka interchange to Inland Town just before the Grail Center, Onitsha. These service lanes when joined to the 6-lane main carriageway gives you the 10-lane that Obidients celebrate every Eke day. Meanwhile this is just a 3 miles stretch. Crucially, THIS 10-LANE STRUCTURE HAS BEEN IN EXISTENCE AS FAR BACK AS 2003 WHEN MBADINUJU WAS GOVERNOR (see Google Earth satellite imagery of 2003 in the thread). So, Peter Obi NEVER constructed any 10-lane road. I repeat, PETER OBI NEVER CONSTRUCTED ANY 10-LANE ROAD. Peter Obi of course constructed the Nkpor flyover, which is part of the Enugu-Onitsha expressway. Unfortunately, two years after Obi left office, his successor, Gov. Willie Obiano had to repair section of the NKPOR flyover that was caving in as seen in this attached video. This is typical of Obi's infrastructure projects. Governor Willie reconstructed the Amawbia section of the Enugu-Onitsha expressway to Agu Awka and constructed THREE flyovers at Amawbia roundabout, Kwata Junction and Aroma roundabout. These flyovers changed the skyline of Awka and have been intact ever since. I can imagine if it was @PeterObi that built those three flyovers in Awka... (In this thread you'll see satellite images of the various sections of the road including historical satellite images from 2003 of the same road) So, please let me use this opportunity to appeal to Progressives, anywhere you see Obidients making claims about Obi's legacy in ANAMBRA please kindly tag me to VERIFY for you. I know everything Obi did in Anambra and I can always always easily puncture any lie. Be it in education, health, agriculture, housing, infrastructure civil service, trade and commerce, etc. Just tag me. Cc: @jeffphilips1 @woye1 @egi_nupe @fimiletoks @DOlusegun
Lmao! We no dey do AI media for here. Peter Obi built the very first 10 lane road in the whole of SE bruh. Your turn dawling. Show us the road Tinubu constructed as governor of Lagos state from 1999 to 2007 😊😊

There’s no need for this form of intellectual masturbation. Is there a VIP section inside the Haram like you claimed? No. That has been the ONLY conversation. The self-serving joyride and the several attempts to perambulate around the issues doesn’t change the fact that you made a wrong claim and you are doubling down on it. Just to add, making bogus claims just to make you feel better about yourself doesn’t equate to a correct claim and I hate the fact that you are making me defend Saudi when I have been their constant critic especially with their politics in the Middle East.
Saudi is selling VIP service, you’re on twitter saying you’re the same before Allah. You just dey play nau.

VIP section for tawaf 😂
I’m telling you there’s a VIP section YOU don’t have access to, if you think that wealthy pilgrims queue and rush the same way to tawaf as you, that’s on you. If you know any proper wealthy person that has done Hajj you can ask them, until then you can expose your gullibility. Or you think you will squeeze through the same crowd as Tinubu to tawaf? Are people this gullible in real life?

I’m sorry, but President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will get full credit for the Abuja-Kaduna Expressway when it’s finally completed. The only thing, Former President Buhari will only get is a “thank you” for initiating a project he spent 8 years on without completing even 100km.

Speaking of donating transformers, my Governorshio CANDIDATE, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Yayi donated 102 transformers to communities around Ogun State for his 56th birthday celebration. Just for his birthday. He didn't just donate the transformers, he paid the full cost for energizing it (as it should be). The communities did not have to contribute kobo, as they do elsewhere, and he didn't make a fuss of it. He doesn't even mention it like that among his achievements. It's very very very basic here.

This government doesn't express itself properly. It sees every suggestion and contribution it does not like as an attack, and it doesn't have good spokespersons. Let's look at the good side of the reforms. GDP in Q2 2026 was at 4.48%. It's not as high as it was under the Yar'Adua/Jonathan government, but during the Buhari years, the economy grew by 0.9%. Today it's at 4.5%. That's progress. Inflation is down from 30% to 14.6% and is projected to be 12.5% by the end of the year. That is progress. GDP per capita in dollar terms has gone up since 2023 by 47%. If we continue at this rate, by the end of next year, GDP per capita will be back to where it was in 2005. Our reserves are at $55 billion, and yes, a lot of it is driven by portfolio flows, which are volatile, but we are lucky that there is a war in the Strait of Hormuz. Oil prices are high. Investors would like to stay in Nigeria because of that and the high returns, and therefore we get the portfolio flows. We are also making progress in terms of diversification. 20% of our exports are coming from the Dangote Refinery. There are clearly foundations being laid for stability. It's not the end, but the first step towards stability. I'm not a fan of politicians, but we need to give credit to President Tinubu's administration for bringing us back from the brink. — Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, speaking today at the Oxford Global Think Tank conference convened by Arunma Oteh.

A Nigerian lady just messed up my day on Tiktok So this Yankee lady documented her trip to Nigeria to meet her BF on Tiktok. Lovely content and her Yankee people are already organizing group visit bcs the way she packaged the content even me just dey smile. She said the airport authority didn't allow jer to record in the airport terminal and they had to take a bus from the tarmac bcs there's a construction going on. One Naija lady came and said "Lagos airport is the worst of all airports in the world" One Oyinbo came and said No, she's been to Lagos couple times and it's a decent airport plus when the construction finishes it'll be lovely. She replied and said l... You don't know what you're talking about, Nigerian airport is dirty and rubbish. The content creator came herself and said - she actually likes the airport even with the construction is still a lovely place and she's been to worse airports Lagos doesn't even count as a bad airport. The Nigerian lady came back and said "They are only hyping rubbish, she's a Nigerian and it's the worst airport anywhere" My blood just dey boil 😡 Why are you bent on denigrating your own country even visitors are telling you no, you still dey tell bad mouth your own country infrastructure Why are young Nigerians doing this thing? What will we gain? Omo! I never see this kind thing before. What is the goal of such behavior?

You people just create hypothetical scenarios in your head wtf is this?
The youths have boycotted the Nigerian ARMY. I saw a Nigerian Army recruitment banner at Alausa Secretariat, Ikeja, and The message on the banner was literally begging young Nigerians to join the Army. The path for poor Nigerians.
