A sneak peek at the #HeritageClassic venue... 👀
Watch the 2026 @TimHortons NHL #HeritageClassic this Sunday at 7 PM ET on @Sportsnet, @TVASports, & @NHL_On_TNT!
ALT A wide stadium rendering at dusk shows a packed outdoor hockey venue beneath a large arched steel roof. At center, an ice rink sits on a rustic wooden platform designed to resemble a cabin floor, surrounded by framed hockey artwork, oversized Montreal Canadiens and Winnipeg Jets logos, hockey sticks and skates. A large NHL shield with flames appears beyond center ice, while a glowing stone fireplace dominates the foreground. Red “Heritage Classic 2026” branding wraps around the rink and seating areas, with colorful illuminated stage areas positioned near the fireplace.

I joined @notthefakeSVP last night and he asked a simple question: Who is the expanded college football playoff for?
It will end up being for no one.
We care about this sport a lot and we tried to put it into words.

Elliotte is one of the best reporters in hockey, and he generally sticks to hockey.
Today he posted a short message commemorating the Canadians killed on October 7th.
And of course he’s getting mobbed for it. I’m sure he knew it was coming and posted anyway.
Good for him.
As always, I hope for a world where people can live happily, in safety and security, no matter where they are from or what they believe

Much like Americans in the wake of 9/11, Jews around the world have grown closer and become prouder in the face of evil. An attack aimed at destroying the Jewish state has only underscored its importance.

The FAI has already made this request and it's been rejected. This is an Irish (or rather Paddystinian) problem. Countries don't choose their opposition based on their politics.
