In a new story at @SBJ, I spoke with several people who know Larry Berg about whether he is the right man to spearhead major change at @MLS heading into next summer's calendar shift. Berg, a soccer lifer, wore No. 7 below as a player for Cherry Hill East High School in N.J.

The NWSL is the latest property to flee ad-supported streaming service Victory+. The league has announced the matches it was streaming there will revert to its owned-and-operated platform, NWSL+. The league was slated to stream 57 matches on Victory+ in boty 2026 and 2027.

FIFA/MetLife Stadium extremely ill-prepared for the amount of press here for the World Cup Final. Line to enter is hundreds deep. People sent to the wrong place initially. Very frustrating.
