What Went Wrong proved that Octavia indeed doesn't have a relationship with Stella.
She's singing about how without Stolas she has no voice, no one to hear her when she screams in pain.
Her family is the father who masked his pain for 17 years to smile better at her.
It might partly be because Loo Loo Land is the episode that got me hooked on the show, and set the bar so high ...

If I have a nitpick about S3, it's that everything is happening too damn fast.
I can understand skipping the baby announcement, but why did we miss Via turning 18, or Stolassago presumably starting their relationship (the end of The Auction doesn't count?)
It feels so rushed.
