Revisions are done! 🎉 Went from 65K to 75K words. After no responses to my queries, I dove into blogs, videos & courses. What I found made me facepalm: 1. Non-standard punctuation 2. Just finished the 1st draft of my first book, a upper middle grade fantasy novel. Yay!! Feels great :) At 105k words right now. Too long right? Hopefully that will change with the first edit, which I plan to begin with soon. #WritingCommunity

#WritingCommunity I had been contemplating quitting my job and focus on writing full time for a year or so. It's finally done :) Jan 31st was my last day at work. Going to take a 2 week break to unwind and then get into writing full time. It's now or never. Wish me luck :)

A big part of my day job is Project Management. I like to be prepared - so I research the problem, create a mission statement, plan a few steps ahead etc. I feel, I am bringing the same approach to my #WIP. I have not started typing my draft yet. #WritingCommnunity

I have an urge to read articles about writing books, complete online courses & plan out my plot line, character descriptions, plot holes etc. Am I going overboard & killing my creativity? Or should I stick with this approach? Maybe this is my style. Any tips #WritingCommunity ?

Hello Everyone. Finally back on Twitter after 4 months. My father passed away in June after suffering from a massive heart attack. All writing plans went on hold while I took care of things at home. Trying to change that now and get my writing discipline back. #WritingCommunity
