Nearly 50 organizations from Poland and abroad have joined a coalition of civil society groups opposing the unlawful takeover of the Constitutional Tribunal (TK) building. A growing number of think tanks are publishing critical statements and analyses regarding the situation at the Constitutional Tribunal, as well as the General Assembly of the Tribunal’s judges—convened illegally for tomorrow by an unauthorized individual. This assembly is expected to result in unlawful decisions, ranging from the reduction of the statutory quorum to the lifting of the immunity of the Tribunal’s presidents.
