It took AI just 60 hours to uncover a #cryptographic flaw that two years of expert review had missed. π π€
In this article, @AndyLeaver , CEO of Arqit, explores what the discovery means for the future of post-#quantum cryptography.
The flaw was found in HAWK, a lattice-based signature scheme designed to withstand both classical and quantum attacks. Within 24 hours of the discovery being confirmed, the submission was withdrawn from consideration for standardisation.
