Club is on the brink of catastrophe but one genuinely good thing I am taking from this is Martin O’Neill back at Celtic and living his best life, can’t grudge him it 💚

Consistent with its historic commitment to a just and lasting peace in the Middle East, I have decided that France will recognize the State of Palestine.
I will make this solemn announcement before the United Nations General Assembly this coming September.
The urgent priority today is to end the war in Gaza and to bring relief to the civilian population.
Peace is possible.
We need an immediate ceasefire, the release of all hostages, and massive humanitarian aid for the people of Gaza. We must also ensure the demilitarization of Hamas, secure and rebuild Gaza. And finally, we must build the State of Palestine, guarantee its viability, and ensure that by accepting its demilitarization and fully recognizing Israel, it contributes to the security of all in the region.
There is no alternative.
The French people want peace in the Middle East. It is our responsibility — as French citizens, alongside Israelis, Palestinians, and our European and international partners — to prove that peace is possible.
In light of the commitments made to me by the President of the Palestinian Authority, I have written to him to express my determination to move forward.
Trust, clarity, and resolve.
We will achieve peace.
Commentary on this Celtic v Chelsea game is amongst the worst I’ve ever had to listen to. Is it coverage by ChelseaTV? Atrocious.

So our semi final game postponed as pitch is unplayable - but they did their absolute best to try and dry the field, that’s for sure!

We have received an extremely concerning report that the Sheikh Radwan primary health care centre in northern #Gaza was struck today while parents were bringing their children to the life-saving #polio vaccination in an area where a humanitarian pause was agreed to allow vaccination to proceed. Six people, including four children, were injured.
A @WHO team was at the site just before. This attack, during humanitarian pause, jeopardises the sanctity of health protection for children and may deter parents from bringing their children for vaccination.
These vital humanitarian-area-specific pauses must be absolutely respected. Ceasefire!

I went to Belfast last year and did a tour with a former IRA insurgent. He said when he was 14, British soldiers shot up his apartment bloc killing someone he knew. He joined the IRA's youth wing after that, then joined the IRA when he was 18. He was vague but said

Without a word of a lie I’ve been getting UPS text messages for about 5 days and ranting about it being a scam… today a UPS guy rattles the door and presents a box marked fragile with my name on.. and still I’m like wtf? Yep, the wine I forgot I ordered just over a week ago 🙃
Is it just myself that thinks the bird captured accidentally in this picture is straight out of Hitchcock 👀 🦅😱
