Thank you all the speakers, attendees, and industry supporters of our 4th @HHC_vascular symposium - really highlighted so many ways we interact with patients and how we can continue to improve care!

Today my team sat down with our insurance broker. My health insurance premium for my employees went up 30% for our renewal. The government cut their pay to me and all doctors by 3.37% this year for the first two months then reduced the cut to 1.66% for the remainder of the year. I’m tired of paid mouthpieces telling Congress and Americans that doctors are the reason for our high healthcare costs. If you agree with me, share this post and let your friends and colleagues know where the money in healthcare is going. Hint: it isn’t to doctors

A great thank you to @RepGregMurphy for standing against the Medicare payment cut on Jan 1, 2024! 👏
Last night, I led a bipartisan coalition in opposing the 3.37% cut to the Medicare Physician Fee Schedule. 83+ million people in the U.S. currently live in areas without sufficient access to a Primary Care Physician. Congress must stand up for America's patients and doctors!

1/ Is anyone on #Medtwitter talking about this as it would be the largest physician group union in the US? If they are, I missed it & appears to be a potential big deal. @sonodoc99? Allina Doctors File to Unionize medpagetoday.com/special-rep…

via @NYTimes The Health Care system needs to be fixed, but it will never happen as those who make money from it are far too powerful. It’s only going to get worse! ⁦@DutchRojas⁩ ⁦@AjKavanaugh⁩ ⁦@DrQuinn15⁩ ⁦@pppforpatients⁩ nytimes.com/2023/06/15/magaz…

I asked our rotating Urology intern what she took away from her experience on Vascular. She responded with this. 😅🤩 @benstarnesmd
