I’m hoping over the next few years the WNBA and college women’s basketball continues to really work on taking the cheap and dirty side of girls/women’s basketball out of the game. Flagrants, ejections and suspensions for non basketball type plays. AAU lets the girls get beat up too. You can literally wrap arms around ball handlers, grab and hold jerseys, trip and undercut airborne players. The game needs to be policed much better at all levels.
The offense will shine, defenders will have to move their feet, it would be amazing!

I’ve noticed it worse in girls basketball. In AAU, the refs don’t want to call it so it creates very rough and ugly games at times. Hand checking, having forearms on players etc doesn’t allow freedom of movement and players to be creative and get by people. Hurts the game.
