Its Sunday and you stumble upon this cool “product launch party” by some laptop brand. Long story short, 30mins in you realize 2/3 of the attendants are... paid. Some of then are student actors/ actresses who get $25 to just take pics, hang around 😳
I can imagine their marketing VPs / directors looking at the press photos from this event thinking it was a huge success for drawing such a crowd #onlyinVietnam
Every week I spend 10 mins "cleansing" all the social media platforms I'm using. You're responsible for your own social media feed, don't blame your negativity on what's on your wall. If you don't like something, #speakout, unsubscribe, unfollow, report etc. Claim your agency.
Talking to #angel #investors w #investmentbanking bg, I hate when they open an argument (on anything) with, "lets be honest ;)" then proceed to describe the world as if it's filled with greed & refuse to see the other side of the coin.

👀 Remote-first will become a recruiting buzzword.
Teams who aren't set up to support remote-first will still use it to attract talent, because talent will favor/expect it.
Startup idea: Glassdoor for remote work env and sell recruiting support and courses on top of it.
