Emodin is not a single pathway supplement. It is a complete multi-target anthraquinone that simultaneously blocks cortisol regeneration, antagonizes estrogen drive, raises mitochondrial ATP while cutting oxidative damage, and hits anticancer and anti-inflammatory programs most molecules never touch in the same pass. Before enzyme transcription even enters the picture, emodin selectively shuts down tissue cortisol reactivation, displaces estrogen at the receptor, clears nitric oxide brakes on respiration, and recruits HER-2, HIF-1α, VEGF, MMP, and fibrosis pathways inside one structure. 1. Emodin Starts Upstream: Cortisol Synthesis Blockade and Dual 11β-HSD Control Emodin's primary stress-hormone target is tissue cortisol regeneration through 11β-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase type 1, the enzyme that converts inactive cortisone back into active cortisol inside liver and fat. Selective Nanomolar 11β-HSD1 Inhibition: Emodin is a potent and selective 11β-HSD1 inhibitor with an IC50 of 186 nM against human 11β-HSD1 (and 86 nM against the mouse enzyme). A single oral dose significantly suppressed 11β-HSD1 activity in liver and fat, reversed prednisone-driven insulin resistance, and improved metabolic readouts including insulin sensitivity, lipid handling, and hepatic gluconeogenic enzymes. Dual Enzyme Control and Estrogen Antagonism: Emodin goes further by downregulating 11β-HSD1 expression while raising activity of 11β-HSD2, the enzyme that deactivates cortisol, locking tissue cortisol from both directions at once. It is also a potent estrogen receptor antagonist that displaces estrogen at ER, including ER-α–linked suppression of breast cancer cell proliferation, with inhibitory effects discussed across other estrogen-sensitive cancers including prostate. Relative cortisol excess is a common reason sleep quality collapses after mid life, and reports describe deeper sleep, settled heartbeat, and a relaxed body once that stress tone drops. Cortisol block plus estrogen antagonism is the hormonal background most single-target agents never deliver together. 2. Gut Motility, Mitochondrial Energy, and Anti-Inflammatory Cover Emodin does not stop at hormone enzymes. It simultaneously supports bowel transit, elevates cellular energy, and calms inflammatory tone at the tissue level. Colon Motility and Local Inflammation: Emodin reaching the colon supports bowel movement rhythm, reduces intestinal water over-absorption, and delivers local anti-inflammatory cover exactly where inflamed gut walls impair contractile tone. Digestion reports include smoother elimination, reduced bloating, and visibly improved gut comfort alongside systemic stress-hormone support. Mitochondrial ATP and Cleaner Respiration: Emodin increases mitochondrial oxygen consumption and ATP synthesis while decreasing oxidative damage, supports electron transport and NADH recycling back to NAD, and inhibits nitric oxide formation and iNOS so cytochrome oxidase is no longer choked by NO. COX and LOX inhibition add anti-inflammatory metabolic cover on top of the energy lift. Reports of warmer temperature, clearer vision, and higher mood track with that metabolic push. Endotoxin and Barrier Tone: Emodin ranks among OTC TLR4 blockers that blunt endotoxin-driven inflammation, reduces vascular leakage, and pairs systemic cortisol control with lower inflammatory drive. Energy up, stress chemistry down: that is the quinone signature. 3. The Anticancer Toolkit That Puts Emodin in a Class of Its Own Where most anti-inflammatory or cortisol agents stop, emodin recruits HER-2, hypoxia, angiogenesis, invasion, and antifibrotic repair pathways across the same molecule. HER-2 / Neu Tyrosine Kinase Suppression and Differentiation: Emodin suppresses HER-2/neu tyrosine kinase autophosphorylation and transphosphorylation, preferentially inhibits growth of HER-2–overexpressing cells, and induces differentiation toward a more orderly, less invasive phenotype. Hypoxia, Angiogenesis, and Metastatic Invasion: Under hypoxic inflammatory stress, emodin attenuates COX-2, VEGF, HIF-1α, MMP-1, and MMP-13 at the mRNA level, cutting the hypoxia survival switch, vessel recruitment, and collagenase-driven invasion program in one stroke. Related work links emodin and aloe-emodin to ER-α inhibition in breast cancer models and lower HIF-1α with attenuated cachexia readouts in pancreatic cancer research. Fatty Acid Synthase, Angiogenesis, and Invasiveness: Emodin inhibits angiogenesis and invasiveness, blocks fatty acid synthase, and promotes cellular differentiation, collapsing membrane-building and blood-supply pathways aggressive tumors lean on. Antifibrotic, Antimicrobial, and Systemic Resilience: Anti-fibrotic studies report reversed fibrosis of heart and liver, with emodin framed as heart protective and as a serotonin antagonist with heart-failure relevance. Broader coverage spans antiviral, antibacterial, and antifungal activity, plus antioxidant, memory-enhancing, and anxiolytic support. One anthraquinone, many disease fronts. Emodin operates as a complete multi-receptor, multi-enzyme neurometabolic and anticancer anthraquinone by uniting nanomolar 11β-HSD1 cortisol blockade, dual cortisol enzyme control, estrogen antagonism, mitochondrial ATP elevation with lower oxidative damage, nitric oxide and TLR4 cover, gut motility plus colon anti-inflammatory action, HER-2 suppression, HIF-1α / VEGF / MMP attenuation, and antifibrotic systemic repair inside a single molecule.

People choose who they let their dogs or livestock procreate with more carefully than 90% choose the mother of their children. That sounds kind of funny but really think about the downstream effects. Everybody in community (at least) pays for it, even if just in terms of opportunity cost.

I went to Catholic school in the 70s and 80s. We were told over and over... Sex is bad for you - guilt, depression, etc for life! Drugs are bad for you - they'll melt your brain! Rock and Roll is bad for you - beware the devil! Now, any kid with a radio and a brain knew they were bullshitting you about Rock and Roll. The sex part? Yeah, also bullshit. The drugs? After my first tentative hit on a joint, I began to think the drugs warning was bullshit, too. So I ended up trying many, many different things. For the most part, it was all bullshit. But not completely. Some take it too far, and it does become a problem. Guess I'm lucky that my personality lets me step up to the edge and look over without too much risk of slipping into the abyss. Still, when people find out they've been lied to, some are apt to take it too far in response. Call it the pendulum response. Maybe it's just a whole lot of sheeple and a bit of Darwinism.

My man Austin at @EliteresearchUS said we HAVE to do this one. So, we made it happen. 1 mg KPV enteric-coated capsules x 60. For those of you that don’t know about enteric caps, research shows enteric coating can help preserve and transport a peptide through the acidity of the gut into the intestine where it can be absorbed. This means ⬆️ bioavailability. I’ve personally been researching 1-2 caps daily and it’s now in my “non-negotiable” daily bucket. Total game changer for me. Super excited to release. Only 50 in this first release. Expecting these to go fast. eliteresearchusa.com

The ultimate thyroid tool is coming soon... T2 allows more fatty acids to be transported into mitochondria for oxidation. It also increases fatty acid uptake via FAT/CD36. It raises resting metabolic rate rapidly and enhances the browning of fat, making it easier to burn. T2 and T3 have a potent thermogenic effects, producing tons of heat via mild uncoupling In studies they also reverses liver damage and insulin resistance. This combination adds mitochondria optimization, thermogenic fat loss and ATP production to the classic anti-stress, longevity, pro-metabolic, anti-inflammatory, anti-depressant benefits of T3 for total thyroid optimization.

Over-adjusting and *feeling* like it must be time to change something often leaves double-digit POUNDS of muscle gain on the table over the course of just a few years. This is why bulking is so hard. Done right, you touch nothing for a really long time. Maybe at first you move calories up relatively quickly. But there will be times you don’t need to touch anything for weeks, and maybe even months. If it’s working, working weights are going up, you’re looking good, and you’re facilitating hard training with what you’re doing, you simply do nothing. No food, no drugs, no more volume, no more exercises…you just change absolutely nothing. Muscle takes a long time to gain. Prematurely adding food can make you too fat to continue. Prematurely adding drugs can make you too unhealthy to continue. Misguided training adjustments make it more difficult to assess progress. You don’t need a .5lb gained per week. You don’t need more food every x amount of weeks. You don’t need anything but the least necessary change to facilitate the training improvement that cannot happen without adding muscle tissue.

Anyone on earth can put on muscle by shutting off their brain, being consistent, and following this very simple program - 4 training days - Torso A (push focused) — pick 3 chest exercises, 2 back exercises, 1-2 shoulder exercises - Limbs A (leg focused) — pick 3 leg exercises, 1-2 bicep exercises, 1-2 tricep exercises - Rest - Torso B (pull focused) — pick 3 back exercises, 2 chest exercises, 1-2 shoulder exercises - Limbs B (Arm focused) — 2-3 bicep exercises, 2-3 tricep exercises, 2 leg exercises - Rest - Rest Examples Torso A 1. Smith incline bench press 2. Lat Pulldowns 3. Dips/weighted dips 4. Wide cable row 5. Pec deck 6. Lateral raises Limb A 1/2. Seated calf raise 1. Leg extensions 2. Hack squat 3. Hip thrust 4. Single arm tricep pushdown 5. DB curl Torso B 1. Barbell row 2. Shoulder press 3. Dumbbell row 4. DB bench press/flat chest press machine 5. Upright row 6. Rack pull Limb B 1/2. Standing calf raise 1. Close grip bench press 2. Drag curl 3. Overhead cable tricep extension 4. Single arm preacher curl 5. Bulgarian split squat 6. RDL - Add, swap, add intensifiers, adjust to weak points, change the order…whatever - 2-3 sets per exercise - if you like a 5th training day, move calves, forearms, adductors, abductors, abs, things like that… - use antagonist supersets for those that need to save time (exercise order is built so this is very easy, one after another) - train to failure or within 2 reps

It’s strange to see a bunch of research chems coming out that actually work. Recently, o-304 and NSI-189 have been the most impressive. NSI (I’ve been using 20mg 2x per day) makes me feel very positive. Not like stimulant euphoric speed-head positive, more calm and subtle. It makes it easy to be “jolly” I guess. More impressively, it seems like it obliterates friction associated with starting tasks I don’t want to do, which is historically one of my biggest hurdles. It doesn’t feel like it contributes to focus much at all, or that it gives any kind of drive, or anything like that. It’s pretty subtle, but instead of procrastinating I find myself getting work done much earlier in the day, and it’s been great for getting to sleep on time as a result. O-304 (more commonly referred to as atx-304 from what I’ve seen) is a fat loss compound. And it works very well as one. ER put it out in trinity 2.0, and I incorrectly faded it for a long time, simply because I thought I had what I needed in that realm. Then, I saw @PGC1a_RB and @nateyamasaki make some posts about it, and I decided to pick up a couple bottles. I’ve since gone through both of them, spending time at 100-200mg daily throughout. It feels like nothing. If anything I get a little more lethargic and tend to need to eat more before training, as I go flat quite a bit quicker. At 200mg, fasted cardio at least 3 days per week, and about 13,000 daily steps, the fat loss was honestly remarkable. It does seem to make me hungrier and sort of lethargic, like I mentioned above. It would make morning workouts worse, just because I don’t think I’d be able to digest the food needed in time for the kind of lifting session I want. I’m a fan, and pleasantly surprised with both.

It used to be thought that your first exposure to androgens was this sacred single chance opportunity to make use of “fresh receptors.” I don’t find that to be the case at all. In fact, for most guys it’s the second or third cycle/“blast” when they’re taking significant doses AND have realized the true rate of gain possible when they’re doing everything else right. Bonus points for the maturation to consistent, high, and high quality protein intake.

I introduced O-304 ~1 month ago at 100mg a day with a super clean strict diet, lots of steps and cardio, and intense training. It’s one of the few things that I’ve felt have been a game changer and really amplified all my hard work. I haven’t felt too lethargic on it, and I’m able to get 9-10am morning workouts in with about 100g of carbs and 50-60g of protein before, and 40-50g carbs intra.

That being said, today we’ve got one scoop (shovel full) of nutrabio and 10mg halo for chest and back (barbell rows 🤌). Nutrabio formula for you pre-workout fiends as well. Super pump heavy.
Them: “Training is what sets you apart, and really grows your muscle” Me: “yes” Them: “you need to train your face off and push past tons of discomfort and psychological limits. Me: “yes. So that makes a good pre-workout, with plenty of stims, a huge asset. More focus, more neurological drive, more fun, more focus, better pumps, less perceived pain, so much upside.” Them: “what are you a pussy? Hahaha. Need all that to train? Ha”

Eliminating snacking will make your life and health better. Even if you’re snacking on something completely healthy every single time (you’re not), so many of your bodily functions suffer. - Insulin sensitivity ⬇️ - Dopamine seeking through food is habituated - digestive system doesn’t get a break - impaired hunger signal - more cravings - increased likelihood of binges/subpar food choices On that last point, allowing yourself to graze regularly, means you build the habit of grazing. You eat all day. When you eat all day, you begin to expect food all day. The second there is a bowl of m&ms in front of you, or you’re walking past candy dishes at work, and that’s all that is around, it is harder to ignore than if you’re used to not eating unless it’s a meal. Plus, convenient foods are often devoid of protein and/or don’t digest as well. So not only do you suffer from direct health impacts, you contend with more variables that indirectly increase your chances of not reaching your goals, or a state of better health. The opposite of this is meal prep. That systemizes basically all of the opposite. No fighting your brain about when/what to eat, which if you look around, is a battle near everyone is losing.
