The cattle belonging to His Excellency Joseph Kabila, former President of the Democratic Republic of Congo, at his Kingakati farm, have reportedly been subjected to horrific acts of cruelty. What is shown in this video is heartbreaking and beyond words. The cruelty inflicted on these innocent animals is deeply disturbing. Thousands upon thousands of cattle are reportedly being killed, while the world watches in silence. The cruelty of President Félix Tshisekedi's government, as alleged in these events, raises serious questions about the protection of human lives and animal welfare in the DRC. If the world has failed to speak loudly enough for people living in danger, must innocent animals also be abandoned to suffer and die in such horrifying circumstances? Where are the international humanitarian organizations? Where are the animal protection organizations? Where are the powerful voices capable of reaching the highest levels of international leadership? I appeal to the international community, particularly President Donald Trump and the United States government, not to turn a blind eye to these disturbing events.
