For the “forgotten”
Every so often, I am reminded of the past 6 years and how neglected I've been when I got poorly. My coping mechanism is to focus on building my own little world. Not to plead to those who have chosen to forget us. Weights, out now youtu.be/hE7Ka_he0nk

Actually, the evidence overwhelmingly shows that sexual freedom, including the freedom to make and consume porn, is directly tied to healthier communities. Sexual repression is cultural depression.
to a general point, I actually do think that pornography probably is harmful to some social extent, but for principled reasons (freedom), pragmatic (a view there since at least Aquinas), and British (we know as things are this will be implemented in the most authoritarian way possible), I still am against this

I see @clips4sale have publicly admitted to over-blocking UK creators’ content, in a last minute attempt to comply with the Crime and Policing Act 2026. This “my bad” from C4S: 1 Describes the publication offences as “distribution,” 2 Fails to warn creators about the possession offences they may be committing, 3 Acknowledges that they having relied on metadata flagging at scale based on tags, 4 Relies on the Ministry of Justice Guidance (which have no binding effect on the courts interpreting this ill-defined legislation), 5 And wistfully hopes for future government guidance. This deliberate over-blocking has already disproportionately impacted legitimate women-run businesses.

Okay so everyone is rightly talking about how this is a bad law, but I also want to talk about how this is a serious problem with how all of our MPs understand their role. They don't understand this is not the West Wing, this is the UK and our MPs roles are different.
Replying to @CobaltCherry
That is exactly what should be left to courts and experts to prove. All legislation requires interpretation alongside the facts of the case and the intention of the law. This is designed to ensure that harmful practices are discouraged.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
It is the responsibility of elected MPs to make clear, precise laws, not pass vague legislation and leave judges to fill in the gaps while people's lives, liberty and futures hang in the balance. parliament.uk/about/how/role/ supremecourt.uk/cases/judgment…

A lot of sex workers have already taken a hit to their income over this Because the vagueness of the law is intentional. It has caused numerous clip sites that independent SWers use err on the side of caution and overpolice it themselves, i know people whose entire body of work

Life is stressful and people do things absent-mindedly all the time. Instead of photographing her to use as bad faith rage bait, you could have asked her to move her belongings. We're surveilled enough by the state, we don't need to do it to each other.

Ashley and Josh are both anti-AI. Unconsensually feeding their work into generative AI is genuinely sickening. No one is going to want to work with you knowing you could just take their work and make low-effort replicas of it yourself whenever you get bored of waiting.
YouTuber sWooZie has defended using AI after animator Ashley Nichols called him out for using a character design she created Nichols said she was paid for the design but “wouldn’t have wanted it used this way”

This is by design! It lets people feel okay for mocking you for standing up against censorship, the loss of jobs, and wildly unserious criminal charges. Contact your legislative body and demand to be taken seriously because that sure is what Collective Shout did
