We decided years ago we wouldn't launch a #Cardano Native Token unless we had an actual application for it. We're getting close to a beta release of that application so we're hoping our PR to a certain Github repo gets accepted! pool.pm/asset1ha4ez4h4gundys… github.com/cardano-foundatio…

In 1998, Brian Kernighan wanted a regular expression engine small enough to fit on one page of a programming book. Rob Pike went to his office and came back an hour or two later with roughly 30 lines of C. It supported ^, $, ., and *, using little more than pointers and recursion. Kernighan later featured it in Beautiful Code.

I thought it would be fun to compile @OpenAI 's potential disproof of the ETH. 11492 jobs later and Lean 4.34.1 reports a clean build. What a time to be alive.

In my role as PhD advisor, I'm nowadays just telling my students to pick an important problem: 1. That is not trivially solvable by AI today 2. That is not theoretically unsolvable 3. For which a solution technique will just get better with AI advancements, not obsolete.

That is one hell of a typo.
Announcing 3 Critical vulns for hundreds of millions of IoT, Firewalls, OT, and Military devices including: Palo Alto Networks, Comcast, D-Link, HP, Canon, Honeywell, GE, Oracle, Siemens, Rockwell, Digi, Lockheed Martin, Boeing... The vulns are with GoAhead Web Server which is a backend library used by these devices. There's a patch available from GoAhead but that doesn't mean there's a patch available for the devices yet -- that's up to the manufacturer. - TLS traffic over DHE ciphers have a 1-byte secret, "04", meaning anyone can decrypt connections to these devices and steal login credentials and session tokens if the client negotiated with DHE ciphers like the latest TLS_DHE_RSA_WITH_CHACHA20_POLY1305_SHA256, which is extremely likely. - LibreSSL mTLS has been completely bypassed, meaning anyone can connect over mTLS. If you have one of these devices listening on the internet and are expecting mTLS to protect it from attackers, take it offline or patch asap. - OpenSSL Certificate Revocation Lists (CRLs) are not enforced, meaning if a user device is stolen or compromised, and you revoke that mTLS cert, nothing actually happens. There are a lot of other attacks this can be used for. These are critical because these types of devices run our world. Water systems, electricity, military, firewalls, critical infrastructure. foxio.io/blog/choose-your-ba…

Palmyra is redefining global supply chains. We provide end-to-end traceability and built-in compliance tools that help producers prove the origin and integrity of their commodities. Supply chain transparency is no longer a luxury; it is the new global standard.

Made a demo for MotionBricks running 100% in your browser. You steer a robot, change its walking style or approach an obstacle. The app turns that into target poses, and the model uses its recent poses to generate the motion connecting them. It outputs 3D joint motion, runs locally on your CPU. huggingface.co/spaces/townbo…

Armbian Imager v2.5 is out! 🚀 Setting up a board without a screen just got easier. Answer a few questions about networking, user accounts, SSH keys, language, and time zone. Imager catches mistakes as you type: invalid static IPs, username typos, or SSH keys it couldn't fetch from GitHub or GitLab. Find out before flashing, not after your first failed login. Before writing, Imager double-checks the target drive to help prevent accidentally overwriting the wrong disk. You can also cancel at any stage. There's more: a new Settings page, clearer error messages, and 🇬🇷 Greek and 🇷🇸 Serbian translations, bringing the total to 20 languages. Free and open source. Available for Linux, macOS, and Windows. imager.armbian.com/

hello. feedback wanted. thinking about using this place more for the actual methodology and writeups instead of just dropping the findings. high-value reverse engineering, how i approach bug bounties, and making local compute actually pay for itself. sub is $3 if the deeper stuff is useful. what would you actually want to see in that domain? thank you to the elite human capital who subscribed not knowing what i’d do with it, i randomly got it enabled yesterday.

AMD Zen 6 (r) actually targets 7.0 GHz First off, both Intel Nova Lake & AMD Zen 6 are both on TSMC N2P. So, both of them are expected to top out at 6.0 - 6.2 GHz (approx). Cos, Fmax of TSMC N2P HP cells is expected to be around 6.0 - 6.2 GHz. Next: Zen 6 refresh -> 6.8 GHz Razor Lake -> 6.5 GHz This is where it gets interesting. Zen 6 has a refresh on TSMC N2X, and expected to launch next year end (Q4 2027). Interesting part is, N2X has +10% *higher* Fmax compared to current N2P HP according to TSMC. This means, the theoretical peak frequency for Zen 6 refresh is 6.82 GHz (assuming the current gen Zen 6 N2P HP maxes out at 6.2 GHz). Nova Lake's successor launching next year end (Q4 2027) alongside Zen 6 refresh is Razor Lake. And Razor Lake doesn't enjoy the same benefits of +10% Fmax like Zen 6 refresh. Razor Lake is reportedly using N2P v2 with an upgraded UHP library that's expected to offer lower Fmax gains (roughly +5% only). That's lower than Zen 6 refresh, and RZL's theoretical peak frequency should be roughly around 6.5 GHz only. Based on reports on N2X & N2P v2, RZL CPU tiles should enter manufacturing a few months before Zen 6 refresh CPU tiles. But, when the finished products reach shelf is a different subject entirely. So, Zen 6 is not targeting 7.0 GHz, Zen 6 refresh is!!! Zen 6 refresh appears to be a very formidable upgrade. What do you think? (Note: I also saw AMD slides that confirm the same.)
